21/7/2017 19:28 | Think of a number and double it. It sounds so much better. (Or stupid) | nomdeplume
21/7/2017 19:25 | fenners66 I think your £0.5B is way short of the mark, I would say that that they need close to £1.5B. But in either case, if they do get the sums required the dilution will be so great that current holders will get wiped out. Memories of Jarvis come to mind, and we all know what happened to that company. | curriedquaker
21/7/2017 19:25 | Because the new management is different. | nomdeplume
21/7/2017 17:28 | RR the company's failure to register a profit over 5 years (when you take the forthcoming £850m write off into account) is the reason why they need to raise more money to shore up the balance sheet. The fact that the shorters saw this coming 2 years before the management did is why they are in this hole. Who would now back the management with say half a billion £ or more given their track record? | fenners66
21/7/2017 15:47 | Newbie here looking to buy . Clearly heavy shorting is supressing the share price to way oversold territory which in turn is self fulfilling as the company needs to repair its balance sheet with a cash call. But the company does have the option of another issue of convertible preference shares as it did in 2014. Perhaps worth a punt if it does that. | rogerrail
21/7/2017 15:22 | Last weeks lows will look high very soon. SELL. | sux_2bu
21/7/2017 15:15 | Problem here is the lower stock goes, worse prospects of cash raising is. If last week's lows are taken out, I'd target 40p.Avoid in my view. | moopdoom
21/7/2017 14:32 | I see the doom-mongers are back. I wonder why? Oh yes, the share price is dropping , but surely the two aren't linked. | nomdeplume
21/7/2017 13:37 | Previously share prices stopped dropping below 50 due to its service management arm, but now this side of the business is struggling as well. Oxfordshire County Council, which last week ended much of a 10-year 500 million pound contract with Carillion will see another drop in share price. | sarpanch
21/7/2017 13:30 | Another contract has been ended with mutual agreement - Hounslow's libraries It's a small contract however another bad news for the company. | sarpanch
21/7/2017 11:55 | Looks to be going BUST !! Turn the lights off on the way out. R.I.P 2017. | rickmay
21/7/2017 11:24 | Scemer - lol You could say "if they were going to write off £850m in contract losses why would they say everything was fine just 2 months earlier?" perhaps the words you are looking for are - " In Denial " Well that's best case Not having a clue what is going on when it comes to writing off over 4 years of net earnings is worse as it shows completely inadequate management The next alternative is unpalatable | fenners66
21/7/2017 10:34 | " scemer 21 Jul '17 - 10:23 - 7070 If they were going to do a rights issue why wouldn't they have done it when the price was £1.80 and get it all out the way then " Yeah a normal company would ... but when a company is run by the shorters ... expect the opposite | ruedolf
21/7/2017 10:23 | If they were going to do a rights issue why wouldn't they have done it when the price was £1.80 and get it all out the way then | scemer
21/7/2017 10:12 | Every tick down sends the likely price of the probable rights issue lower , a spiralling down effect? | fenners66
21/7/2017 09:54 | GUYS CHECK OUT LEG, SELLER GONE | falia
21/7/2017 09:47 | At a nice level for a speculative long trade. Retraced 60% of the rise from 51 to 75 on significantly lower volume levels than during the rise. Just hit a downtrend support line on a 15 min log graph. | bakunin
21/7/2017 09:34 | When the share price was around 70 I mentioned Bnn to you, which was cheaper. Today Clln is cheaper. Should I keep Bnn that potentially can jump to 80 near term or sell it and buy Clln now? 3 reasons to buy Clln at 60p? | marmar80
21/7/2017 09:21 | Unfortunately, share price could be heading down to test low of last week. Can't see anymore contract announcements after the recent "flurry" to boost share price | m4rtinu
21/7/2017 09:03 | It rain tomorrow - Thank you professor for that in depth research. | carbon man
21/7/2017 08:06 | Could be going BUST !!!!! | rickmay
21/7/2017 07:57 | well nom, at least I have been consistent no sign of jaf, lab, kcsham or garycook any more on these threads I wonder if jaf still thinks he knows more than hedge funds | rcturner2
20/7/2017 21:41 | Wow,I bet it took you an age to think that one up. | excell1 |
