18/6/2012 12:24 | Difficult to argue with that well reasoned and thoroughly investigated comment! Look I'm as upset as the next shareholder on the present value of this company but it is being turned around bit by bit and even expanding its own assets. When the junction fund is sold, when X-Leisure is sold and when the Mall fund takes that final step to be non cash trapped, all of which will happen, then we will have a slimmed down highly profitable company. The NAV may take time to grow based upon valuation increases but thats out of the company hands apart from asset management. I just hope the management realise that shareholder value IS dependent upon a dividend in this market. Re-investment of all the profit unless done in totally transparent way will not help the short term value. | m1keg
15/6/2012 15:57 | Doesn't look like there is anything for shareholders to lok forward to. No dividend. What is the point of this company? | nick rubens
12/6/2012 16:47 | If you want divi then put it into a fixed rate savings account....divis in these casinos is out of window!... | diku
25/5/2012 16:15 | Has everyone deserted here? That shopping centre purchase maybe wasn't a good move? Are they going to pay any dividends here? | nick rubens

17/2/2012 18:58 | Ciderboy. The results will be published on 7th march as stated in the last Co RNS re mall acquisition. It is added in at the end and perhaps would have been clearer if announced separately. Hope this clarifies for you SP | spurious
17/2/2012 18:18 | results last year were 23 march and as of 23 aug nav was 56p. | ciderboy
17/2/2012 16:05 | results 7th March. Recent heavy and sustained director share purchases including Parkdev increasing strategic holding to around 29% and steady buying from Standard Life to over 9% gives confidence.Retail figures would suggest the high street is not dead and backs reported increased footfall at Cap and Reg and rising nav (54p) last update.I see considerable short term upside by either higher share price or take out Regards SP | spurious
09/1/2012 12:48 | Thanks for the feedback. I'm not as enthusiastic to buy as I was a year or so ago. The Parkdev buys look interesting. | nick rubens

07/1/2012 17:36 | Not sure German exposure is a reason to sell. Thats the one part of Europe still doing very well. German unemployment falling still and apparently 500k job vacancies struggling to be filled. German Government also coming in way ahead of budget deficit forecasts. I think CAL bigger fears are the decimation of retail in this country. Structural issues such as internet shopping are killing retailers. Don't expect that trend to change going forward. | horndean eagle
06/1/2012 16:45 | I was dedicated to CAL but recently sold just as you said because of the German exposure. I may not be alone I guess. | chinahere
06/1/2012 16:27 | CAL is drifting down. Is it the European Financial come economic situation that is worrying the market? I understand alot of CAL property assets are in Europe(Germany-Franc Any dedicated shareholders have any thoughts here? | nick rubens
