I have looked at ASOS before but can't help thinking eventually consumers will tighten their belts considerably and sales will tail off even those online sales. At the end of the day ASOS is still a retailer and no one holds retailing shares these days ?? - maybe this is reflected in the current share price which has fallen from over £4.00 to closer to £3.00 in a month.

regards

Yep, maybe another test of 640-650. Good call mmx.
The bounce from there was swift last time.
Cannot think of many other stocks which have stayed in trading range of 640 to 800 in the last 12 months.

Then again there is ASC, but thats in a different category.

I have to say I am disappointed at how the share price is struggling to stay at or above the £7.00 level. There are still doubts in the stock market concerning the US bailout and if it will get passed on Friday which really concerns me. The vote won't come until after the UK market closes at 4.30pm so if they vote it out we could see a very very bad UK market on Monday morning.
For the above reasons I have now gone short on Capita expecting a retracement to £6.50 or pehaps £6.30ish

I will be trading short on this one for a while.
i can see this going to 720-730 but should pull back extremely fast. (just a technical point!)

looking at the longer term chart £7 has been both support and resistance in the past so could well be support now and if the latest US plan is voted through tonight by the Senate we could well see the start of a market recovery across the board

mmx - i see your point - a possible double top bounce, bottom level support of around 630. The williams %r is also below the 50% mark so if I was trading this now then I would either go to cash or short. Unfortunately im still locked into the sharesave. :(

mmx - I am long because if the US bailout gets approved this week we should then see the DOW move haead strongly and take other world stock markets up with it.

Trickboy no I don't work for them but I do have a lot of outsourcing experience, UK and international. Sorry to be off topic to others. Have been a long term holder in this company and its generated a bit of wealth for me. Not as much as those on share options though! Have to be impressed when compared with those that started out the same sort of time.
