24/9/2008 10:01 | Dave - Maybe its just my contract / building then. Not Urban Vision. | trickyboyfish
24/9/2008 09:50 | Urban Vision by any chance? Capita Symonds oneself (& quite like the Company) bbd | bigbigdave
24/9/2008 09:12 | Oscar - Difficult to answer that on a BB but corporate policies that are good for adding shareholder value are not good for employees IMHO. | trickyboyfish
24/9/2008 08:48 | Why do you hate capita? | oscar000
23/9/2008 22:27 | Ok - Evening / Morning Gents. Here is my take on the charts - Those of you that remember by previous post will remember I was wrong - I am only an amateur. To be completely honest I hate this company (I work for them). Why do I work for them if I hate them? Because I like my job and they bought my company out. I hold shares in a sharesave. I dislike them so much I would love to see them heavily shorted however, my limited technical analysis skills say otherwise. Whatever I feel about the company is irrelevant. This remains a FTSE favourite and frequently appears in the press. "Defensive Share" - "Recession Share" This is the chart I just prepared. - Explanation below. free stock charts from www.advfn.com Firstly the recent rising pennant is self explanatory and the break out was confirmed yesterday. Sell off today keeps the breakout intact. Secondly there has been a Double (or possibly triple) bottom bounce signaling the change of trend. But the indicator I like most of all is the Williams%R. This I have tweaked to a frequency that eradicates many false stops and starts when the up trend changed to a down trend last July / Aug. I have marked with thick red or blue vertical lines, the points at which the Williams%R crosses the -50% mark. I think the upward movements (marked blue) are good points at which to go long and the downward movements (marked red) are good points to sell or go short. Right now we have entered a long point and I see no reason to sell or short in the immediate future. But DYOR and if you do go short good luck - I hate Capita ;) | trickyboyfish
23/9/2008 18:11 | One of you is right so which one? | oscar000
23/9/2008 16:15 | Breakout anytime now - watch it fly !!! | trt
23/9/2008 15:57 | wait and C | mmx trader
23/9/2008 15:21 | Double top? In the words of Ricky Tomlinson 'My @rse'! I see a breakout coming. 8-) | bigbigdave

22/9/2008 17:45 | mmx trader = do you see the rising pennant and subsequnt break out now? | trickyboyfish
22/9/2008 15:34 | Topped up don't want to wait until £7.40+. Capita is now becoming one of my largest holdings in terms of safe havens. | trt
22/9/2008 14:35 | Chart looking excellent now, if can we break 740........ | bigbigdave
21/9/2008 21:14 | Well yes - and if those bank shares sink again through loss of confidence just watch Capita move even higher as investors seek safe havens. | trt
19/9/2008 21:10 | Im seeing a rising pennant flag in the charts so possible explosive acrtion early next week perhaps. Anyone else see it? | trickyboyfish
19/9/2008 15:54 | Shows you what an excellent share Capita is as the price has been solid throughout the turmoil of the last few months. As bank shares settle back down next week after the excitment of today thats when Capita will move up strongly - investors will be taking profits in bank shares while they can and pile back into safe haven stocks ( Capita ) once again. | trt
19/9/2008 14:40 | Come on you b*gger! FTSE up 450 points! | bigbigdave
17/9/2008 14:26 | At the moment its just following the FTSE trend, but because it is also seen as a safe haven it bounces back up again once investors pile in. | trt
17/9/2008 14:17 | the fall hasnt started yet, just coming together !!! | mmx trader
16/9/2008 15:44 | Well yes - I can't think of any other company in the FTSE 100 at the moment, other than Capita of course, that is upgrading its profit forecasts and progressively increasing its dividend and continually winning new large contracts. Capita is the real safe haven !!! | trt
16/9/2008 12:14 | very safe haven.. | mmx trader
16/9/2008 11:14 | Could be costly - its a safe haven !! | trt
16/9/2008 09:17 | ...time to short this baby | mmx trader |
