FTSE 250 automatic entry position

So looks like around 39p should be the entry point

Most of the ones I have seen are reviewed annually for CPI, not sure on RPI

I would expect most to have an inflationary element. The question is will it be based on RPI each year or if it was say for a 5 year contract will it have 5 lots of inflation each based on the prevailing rate when the contract was let?

The contracts my company undertakes allow for CPI and some have RPI.. some don't but there is always a conversation to be had and usually they get agreed. I think Capita should have these inc within their contract or the teams that were involved should be strung up!!

What cost inflation, such as wage inflation, is allowed for in their multi year contacts.

I notice MTO last week (who are blue collar outsourcing) saying 96% of inflationary
costs can be passed on.

Is this the case with CPI?, may be worth clarifying.

Apologies if already discussed here.

Jsg123 - Re Trades -
If they are order book trades (AT) it is not that transparent. Anyone with dma can buy by putting a bid on the book and waiting for a seller to bite. It will execute as a sell. AT trades are just that, trades between buyer and seller. Hence prices may rise when all trades appear on advfn as sells (and vice versa) because someone keeps bidding it up.
'O' trades are generally a more reliable indicator as they involve a market maker, except for large ones which often suffer delayed publication.

Well after that non event yesterday any thoughts

My only thought that yet again go after the hard working stiffs instead of the fat cats at top of cash like

Yet again feel we have been shafted

Think come the next election (sooner rather than later) we can get a more clued up approach

Will see what happens but very very disappointed with Hunt

Stay safe be lucky !

Yes seems to be a number of false dawns, just when you think progress is being made slides back down.. let's see what the reaction is to the autumn statement today.
