just to add, i think it is good to see both sides of the coin, negativity is good as long as it is done CONSTRUCTIVELY, very easy to not want to see it, but that dont mean it isnt there.

I get what you are saying , but from what we have been told this might be the slack before the movement, we know already that 21/22 order book is higher than last year, we have less debt, there is potentially a sale of a part of the Co. that ironically is the market valuation , (£700m) est. so that means the rest of CPI is worthless ? dont think so. end of 2021 i feel this is going to be a very different picture, will be adding through next few months on drops.....

Capita

The Congestion charge operator’s turnaround has been a long time coming and has taken far too long to carry out disposals. But this week chief executive Jon Lewis launched another restructuring which includes £700 million of targeted disposals which, as Russ points out “isn’t much less than the value of the whole company.”

Is that a cup and handle I see with handle nearly formed? Also, daily chart still looks really good indeed on Ichimoku Cloud - truly a Prince of indicators. One to watch closely. All IMHO. DYOR.

Share price should creep up if the market continues to rise. Should see aperiodic jump when a disposal isannounced and debt reduced.

Agreed. But as I said, the share price will not rocket on the back of that. That's been the message on here for weeks. "Just wait for the results, then we'll smash thru 50p" etc etc.
Time for a reality check

There is no "debt to market cap ratio". Debt to revenue, yes (more revenue requires more working capital), debt to Ebit, yes (demonstrates the ability to service debt). With thr proceeds from ESS in the bet debt is now only around 700m. That is manageable given the revenue and Ebit as well as likely future disposals

It was a £50m loss. Not sure how you all expected the share price to rocket on the back of that.

Looks like they changed the pattern, before it was rise in the morning and around 3pm drop. Now its start high in the morning drift all day.

So why dont I buy before close and sell in the morning....

For a company worth 700 odd million, debt isn't too bad. Some companies have debt 4 to 5 times their value.
Agree that it is still high though, at least it is being managed. Capita are now in better shape than a fews years ago......if you believe the main man.

Just bought some more in sipp.I do have high hopes here but debt remains very high and this is holding back price. Irrespective, I still see a near doubling of my money over the next 12 months as debt continues to fall.

what happened to the good old days when good news put share price up , and Bad news sent share price down? no matter what news CPI gets, it is stuck, i have a substantial lump coming to me in the next few weeks, i was thinking of putting a chunk into CPI, i trust the Co, i dont trust the markets.....

it did temporarily break 50p earlier, since then MM's have had it in freefall, why will they not allow it to run ?

ajm , lets hope it does not crash , I have enough in here to buy an average house , so do not wish to lose my profits , lets hope for all investors here that we continue the upward trend , needs to break 50p and hold though.

Jot, why would it crash ? the result are broadly as expected, if not slightly better, CPI's 21/22 is looking good already, yet MM's give it a 10% swing today, high of 50.44 down to this ? why ? it stinks...

Massive volume today. Don't check the number of trades that frequently I must admit but can't remember when I last saw this many for Capita.
