Goldman thought the shares were worth 240p in February. Some analysts now say 35p. Apart from a few charges and some revenue slippage the company is largely the same. So why would the equity be worth 90% less? makes no sense. it will rebound hard soon

Yep, shame. This is the one dog in my portfolio that just keeps on giving. Only thing keeping me in is any formal news about the ESS sale.

Sorry HodHasharon but it's carrying too much debt to be considered a safe haven.

And flagging up sales of profitable divisions is not good PR. Especially as it will probably not make a lot of difference to the net debt and might easily send the share price even lower.

Capita needs entrepreneurial leadership and fast. Jon Lewis sounds like a nice, competent man but Capita needs new products in new markets and I don't get the impression he's the man for it. Two and a half years in the job and not much further forward.

I was in Capita...and how, but long out of it and staying that way until it gets a real boss.

Agreed. I would have thought companies supporting essential government services would be considered a safe haven.

This will be one hell of a cost saving!

Corona virus forced working from home to take off, this will result in a big cost saving benefit to Capita.

it's very hard to change suppliers on outstanding contracts, especially in this covid environment. A lot of risk in making such a change. renewals very likely

Let's hope the govt continue to offer any new contracts that will be up and coming and not overlook them out of spite.

The shares are performing like the company is in the hospitality industry. Its massive workforce is perfectly capable of working from home

The article is good news for CPI. It will, according to the article, save 20m on leases by 2022. There will be all the other savings on fit out, electricity, utilities etc.Helps CPI become a far leaner organization with improved margins.

As recently as February 3rd Goldman put this on their Conviction Buy list with a 240p target. The stock has fallen to 30p on very low volume since the results. No director buying to me indicates the disposal of the Education software business is being finalised or somebody is running the ruler over the whole company

it takes time to run offer processes like this. Why would somebody pay 22 times revenue for Adobe? Makes no sense but investors are doing it
