I do not mind being lashed out at. It amuses me. What does not amuse me at all are Capita goons threatening and humiliating the elderly with dishonestly obtained search warrants - all so that Gary Lineker can be paid his £1.5mn salary.

If you are financially exposed to Capita, then you may be annoyed at me in the short term, but I am only pointing out the facts.

Here is some corroboration from the media:-

JoeI can't see that capita would get the blame for this. In the eyes of the public it would be the BBC or the government to blame. In any event if the old lady being harassed makes a fuss how does that affect capita? She is not the customer.

Firstly, a lot of people named Joe get given the nickname of Stalin. You are lashing out at thin air.

Secondly, since I am some way off 75, I pay my TV licence (albeit reluctantly), - and my taxes.

To get back to the point that I am making, Capita are hiring people to go round to the houses of the elderly, and threaten them. There are numerous examples of bad behaviour of these people who perform this job.

This can only end one way - badly.

Clever...
But I could say all the british are stupid by having more negative experiences.
I am sure that 800 are chosen wisely out of 1000s.
It’s always just an individual or small group of people leading the flock wrong way.
Scattered all around the other, misleading won’t happen...

German philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer once said, “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”

I hope that nobody thinks that these shares are like a football team - the louder you cheer, the better they play. Money will be lost when it kicks off.

Clueless idiot. You’re not deterring any retail investors. Must try harder.

I am merely pointing out that a train is coming - Capita recruiting 800 goons to intimidate the elderly is not going to end well.

The tabloids know about it, Age UK know about it. When it all kicks off, the media will be like vultures, and then you can judge if it is a "trite and shallow remark".

I call it "research".

What Vultures and what for ? Seems a trite and shallow remark. Unless of course you have information not in the public domain.

Wrong again. I do not eat baked beans.

However, that is not the point. The point is that I should not have to subsidise other people's eating of baked beans, any more than I would expect you to subsidise my consuption of fine wine and caviar.

Similarly, if you liked to watch, for example, extreme pornography, you would not expect others to subsidise that.

Rubbish , when you buy your tin of Baked Beans then you are contributing toward the income of ITV , you have no option but to pay , the BBC just collects it another way , everyone has to pay , even you Stalin .

"Rubbish , everything has to be paid for , even tv license !!"

You have never heard of commercial television paid for by sponsors or adverts? There is no need to extort money from the elderly.

dealy - agree, my latest estimate PBt in the CEO's basis is £268m for YE20, last year they said 265-295 and did 275 on those numbers but costs like listed for Ye19 below that may bring it out same as last year apart from ESS.

YE19
Management PBT 275 + Intang&GW(91),Business exit(69), Restructuring (159), Others(19) = audited Loss before tax (63)

YE18
Management PBT 281 + Intang&GW(178),Business exit(12), Restructuring(110), Others(19)= (38)+Profit on business disposal 310 = audited PBT 273.

That profit on business disposal in YE18 310 saved that result & had a share price of 100-120 after it. If ESS was sold there might be 500m less not much to add in YE20 and hopefully less of those things listed like Restructuring 159 which includes systems this team have developed that have not worked to replace old systems that did work.

It should be good, we'll see.

I think that it is fair to say that Capita are going to get some very bad press when these goons that they are about to hire start harassing the elderly over the tv licence debacle.

It could reflect very badly on the company and its share price.

#CSP Countryside Properties Plc worth a look as well. Chart looking primed & with the hall pass on construction from the government, looks a good play.
