Next couple of months are traditional down months for stocks. Expect 30p or 31p.

I am hoping to buy back in if can free up some cash, I think this was recovery well until recent, and is a reasonable bet compared to other small-mid caps. I think people have difficulty valuing this stock due to the way contracts are recognised in the accounts and the service split.

That being said my focus at the moment is trying to get into the mining stocks to hedge, hard finding discounts, if anyone knows of any silver junior minors or stocks that offer good value let me know. Stocks like Ferrexpo are already trading 40% over fair value, and many miners are back to pre-covid levels, so its hard to determine an entry point, but a must with the risk on equities as the US election will impact our market as well.

Thanks for your feedback. What investors are missing is that the PE ratio should be much higher now given that bonds will yield nothing for the next 5 years. So whilst earnings will be under pressure for 12 months those earnings are worth much more now. We are in a way better situation than March. Mini lockdowns are manageable. So much work has been done on stimulus, support, treatment, information, vaccine etc. I think stocks will rebound next week

dealy - this isn't restricted to small/mid-cap, its just the volatility and bearish nature of earnings season; you end up with profit taking on any stock to cover losses or margins on other stock, people pull out through fear before results. Given the rate of negative news being sold by the news and media its not surprising, they've sold a bear market; the main media organisations are all owned by the same entity, the question is how deep this whole covid situation runs. This will either level off over the next week, and confidence slowly build, or we could see stocks go 10-20% below the crash price (in some stocks - not Capita), before the government will step in to stabilise things, then hopefully over 3-6 months things will go higher than previous levels. The imminent covid vaccine development in October will be critical, as will the ongoing fall out of company filings, covid outbreaks.

So H1 results out on Monday. Serious relief rally or plunge down further? Feels like you could toss a coin in this market, slightly edging towards the rally.
