11/5/2018 09:56 | In my honest opinion, CPI will be trading at sub 100 before the end of June and will remain in an 80p - 100 trading range for years to come. | eisler

10/5/2018 18:41 | Mick - if you don't understand how rights issues work, you shouldn't really be investing such large sums of money. | daffyjones
10/5/2018 18:32 | Micktravers 1)You purchased between record date and ex date therefore you are due the rights. 2) Because you were not on the register at record date the rights are "claimed" on your behalf by your broker. 3) Your broker will give you 3 options: a)Take up all or part b)Tailswallow c) Lapse If I were you I'd contact them to gee them up. | 60000 muppets
10/5/2018 17:12 | Now that the stock has gone ex-rights, investors will now be contacted by their brokers and asked whether they want to subscribe, or sell their nil-paid rights. If you decide to sell, the proceeds will make up for today's loss plus or minus a bit for market moves since. I believe you have until 25 May to decide. | ilovefrogs
10/5/2018 16:46 | Today's adjustment doesn't really matter much, it's what happens next that I'm worried about. | only who?
10/5/2018 14:24 | Thanks Wally, The Broker may well do the right thing now. | micktravers
10/5/2018 13:44 | IG closed my short position before the market opened this morning and opened up a new short position at the new (lower price), leaving me at a loss. Their explanation was because it was due to "corporate action". There was no communication from them until 7.48am when I received an email - needless to say I'm never going to have anything to do with them again and have closed my account. Has anyone else had similar issues with them? | 57eady eddie
10/5/2018 13:23 | Hi Mick, You should of had the right to subscribe, but the paperwork would be slow to catch up (because of the date you bgt). If you wanted to, you should of contacted your broker and arranged. Some brokers are very slow in adding the rights to your nominee account. | wallywoo

10/5/2018 12:53 | Sub 100 pence will generate my interest. | ebomber
10/5/2018 11:58 | I'll be buying sub 100p which I think will be the closing price tomorrow, wary of short term rallies eg DCB | nerdofsteel
10/5/2018 11:29 | Did people actually buy this this morning thinking it had been 'oversold' (big drop on open) without understanding what was going on? Wonder where it will settle. | 1retirement
10/5/2018 10:57 | Sorry ignore that last post then Wally. As an experienced share trader I was expecting the right to subscribe if that makes sense. | micktravers
10/5/2018 10:55 | Why I am also confused is I bought these on 24th April but have been given no opportunity to subscribe to a rights issue? | micktravers
10/5/2018 10:36 | If you do not take up your rights, you can tail swallow your nil paid rights. Epic code for nil paid rights is CPIN currently trading 57.11/58.24 | abryer |
