RNS x 2 this morning showing 3 mill shares acquired by NFU Mutual and 5.33mill by Hargreave Hale.

JAF, I'd agree with your call on the Burt CP being the buyer. I'm not sure what the significance of all this is, but it's great for us PI's if the share price is being driven up.

After yesterday's large trades a 800,000 trade at 54p.....which probably explains today's rise (8%).....BUT their surely must be an RNS soon.........

Always possible Fruitninja but I would expect 60p to be the next "hurdle" rather than a return to 47p....

4 massive trades today with a total value of appr. £8.3million.
Must be an RNS imminent to explain what's occurring.
Hope the fact the share price is up to 50p is a good sign.

Some interesting / huge trading gone through today - 9m, 3m & 5m all at around 47p.......not idea what it means, but share price moving up nicely.

Hope it will breakthrough 50p ceiling.....

Share price just ticked up to 50p after last buy. 5.3% up on the day. Probably a delayed reaction to yesterdays SMMT figures & market becoming aware of the potential effect on CAMB results.

Excellent December figures - any obvious reason why the percentage increase in December is a lot higher than previous months?

Dec 2012 - 123,557 units; Dec 2013 - 152,918 units = + 23.8%
Nov 2012 - 149,191 units; Nov 2013 - 159,581 units = + 7%
Oct 2012 - 151,252 units; Oct 2013 - 157,314 units = + 4%

Dec 2013 new car registrations were up 23.76% versus Dec 2012.
152918 units versus 123557. More good news for the sector & CAMB.

Very much looking forward to CAMB results for y/e 28 Feb after reading this:-
SMMT : 2013 New Car Market Registrations
2,264,737 cars registered in 2013, up 10.8% on 2012 and exceeding SMMT's 2.25 million forecast for the year. 2013 hits highest annual registration total since 2007 as December achieves 22nd consecutive monthly rise. On average, an additional 600 extra cars registered per day in 2013 than in the previous year.

Good to see share price holding up after CAMB went ex-divi on 27th Dec, with divi due 24th Jan.
SMMT issue their December New Veh. Regn Stats on 7th January which hopefully will be positive for the sector.

It would be great if they could "do a Mello"....and that would certainly persuade me to finally attend one of these meetings which I keep meaning to do, but thus far have never managed to make!!!!
