25/11/2021 09:41 | Agree Chip. As the production here increases I expect the yield will increase in tandem. Already an attractive income | leopoldalcox

17/11/2021 14:04 | Dozey3 - really? We all know July 2020 was an exceptional month for PMs and PM-related stocks, and why it was so. I trade the market Zig-Zags of a range of gold mining equities in order to reduce holding costs and like you, took advantage of the short term bubble to close out 55 positions. Since then, of course, we have seen significant falls across the entire sector, so it has been the obvious time to buy back lower. The PoG averaged US$1,777/oz over 2020. It is currently averaging US$1,797/oz. We are all entitled to our own views as investors. My view on CMCL is that, at my low holding cost, it serves as a reasonably reliable cash generator and dividend payer with additional capital appreciation opportunities. All the best Chip | chipperfrd
17/11/2021 12:35 | Before you get completely carried away my notes show that I disposed of half my holding at £18.06 in July 2020. Makes me wonder what price WH Ireland were plugging then. Despite the rising dividend the market doubts whether much of the ‘extraordinary cash generation’ will devolve to shareholders. So do I. | dozey3
16/11/2021 19:45 | "A hair's breadth away from the 80,000..." This is the phrase I take away from that interview. I do like the way this company delivers on its promises. Without diluting its shareholders at all, it is in the final stages of constructing, equipping, commissioning and utilising a 1200 metre shaft. This has enabled what the company has called in effect a new mine below the original one to deliver its gold. I think a lot of the credit must go to the chief operating officer, Dana Roets. I guess it's he who makes the important decisions underground as to what rock goes into the bin marked "ore" and what into the one marked "waste". Plenty to look forward to. | mikkydhu
16/11/2021 12:39 | Thanks SteMiS. Good interview. | chipperfrd
16/11/2021 12:19 | Interview with Steve Curtis, CEO, on 3rd qtr results and progress with Maligreen and Connemara. Sounded to me like they are planning further increases in the dividend | stemis
15/11/2021 12:05 | TA looks interesting, weekly MACD and supertend breakout and something of a bowl forming since the £19 peak and fall. Tightly held with low float, looks like a chance of a run if gold holds price or goes up. Very interesting. | p1nkfish
15/11/2021 12:00 | I hold GJGB that I think has 3% of this and I keep an eye on it. Someone accumulating slowly? | p1nkfish

27/10/2021 23:33 | I don't know whether the above new poster is genuine or not, but I would suggest you do your own research before emailing an unknown poster on a bulletin board. If you do a google search you should find the following and it is a free event and Caledonian might be presenting but I couldn't find the specific details. | pj84

13/10/2021 09:36 | I love the sleepyness of this thread. I will quietly leave the Q3 highlights here- · Record quarterly production of 18,965 ounces of gold during the Quarter · An increase of 25 per cent on the 15,155 ounces produced in the corresponding quarter of 2020. · Production guidance for the year to December 31, 2021 has been narrowed at the top end of previous guidance at 65,000 and 67,000 ounces. · Gold produced in the nine months to September 30, 2021 was 48,872 ounces, 14 per cent more than the 42,887 ounces produced in the nine months to September 30, 2020. · Caledonia remains on track to achieve its production target of 80,000 ounces in 2022. [1] Commenting on the announcement, Steve Curtis, Chief Executive Officer, said: "I am delighted that this quarter we have once again set a new production record as Blanket begins to reap the rewards of the substantially increased production capacity following the commissioning of the Central Shaft in March 2021. "The ramp-up in production towards our quarterly target of 20,000 ounces has met our best estimate and, consequently, we have been able to narrow our annual production guidance from 61-67,000 ounces to 65-67,000 ounces. "When we acquired Blanket from Kinross in 2006 our production in the third quarter of 2006 was 6,475 ounces - the Company has come a long way since then. Central Shaft provides the infrastructure required to access the deeper resources at Blanket for many years before any new vertical shaft deepening needs to be considered. The extra hoisting capacity provided by the shaft is the foundation to the production build-up to 80,000 ounces from next year onwards. "The completion of Central Shaft and the resultant increase in production also means that we are able to execute other areas of our growth strategy such as the agreement to acquire Maligreen that we announced last month. This is an exciting time for the Company and I look forward to continuing to update shareholders of our progress." | buffetcharliemtesque
