Playing with fire. Investing based on technical analysis is a recipe for disaster. Fundamentals are way more important.

Oh crikey - I trade in technicals and broadly ignore fundamentals Lol. That's why I don't get crucified during bad market periods like now and that's why the best technical traders have been around for decades and make considerably higher returns. Anyhow this is technically just fine and people are calling out random numbers are just, that random numbers

Technical analysis is a load of sh*te. Fundamentals of a company is the most important aspect of investing. Consider the following:1) does the business have good revenue growth?2) does the business have a MOAT?3) has eps increased over the past 3-5 years?4) does management have a good track record?TA can't answer this, it's complete and utter nonsense.

In all seriousness what do people think would cause a price drop to 150 or lower? Do you expect any negative news from the company over the next couple of months, or is it based on technicals?

Agree. We know the fundamentals of this share that's all that matters. I am topping up on these dips.

Don't think there is a date in the market yet, would guess mid/late November? It's their first results as a plc and there are some new accounting standards to apply so expect they will need some time to get the numbers and disclosures right.

Agree Nitbhav06. It has a three year track record of earnings growth and its model is based on a proven concept (people are buying the cakes!) and its hitting projected store openings this year. It is a very simple model - it doesnt operate the franchises but exclusively sells them the ingredients. If it maintains its earnings growth for the next 2 years I expect it to be trading on a PE ratio of 30 at 12 pence EPS i.e. £3.60. This is just my view!

I wouldn't class this is a high risk share. It is capital light business and with organic growth through new and existing stores, it is a gem off a company.

I bought an initial position yesterday afternoon after it came up on one of my screens. For higher risk shares like this I like to split my investment into three chunks each around 2% of my portfolio. After investing the first chunk, if I like what I see then I'll add another and a third. If it's super performing I may add a fourth!

Yes the strongest shares don't keep pulling back. We've had the pull back and I've added

Im a bit slow elpirata! I only just got the double entendres! Good ones!

Yes Macaroons provide a huge additional growth market and other products too.

The half year results should be out by Mid-November so we will get better guidance then. Hopefully the market recognises the one off costs and focusses on the future and the rate of store openings. Also curious to see how the like for like growth is developing for existing stores with all the publicity of the float.

If I was one of the potential franchise then not great deal of confidence when you start looking to enter supermarkets. Too early yet .I would target motorway service station have cakes for all occasions.
