15/1/2010 11:12 | They gave a report at 11.00 a.m. and should do again on the hourly news headlines. Big pressure on 'c'mon Irene'. Lol. Topicel | ![]() topicel
15/1/2010 08:13 | Interesting Topical, will have bloomberg on today to see if any other news is forthcoming on the subject, so tuesday is what were waiting for then, so be it, hope the share price does not drift to much before then. K | kumala
15/1/2010 07:59 | Yes K, and Bloomberg again reporting Cadbury are expecting Hershey to put in an offer but haven't done so yet, and it will likely be after they see Kraft's final bid next Tuesday... Irene is in big danger of losing and with it her job and private jet imho. I will not shed a tear as this has been opportunistic and greedy since the satrt. From what I see of Kraft they have little growth and it is surprising the great Buffet invests there. Kraft to increase to current share price and Hershey to then go £8.20 is my feeling, with that being recommended. Kraft would not be able to improve based on what we've heard about their credit rating, so maybe we all go our separate ways if that happens? However, if it does a new countdown begins I believe. Lol. Might just stick around for an April dividend too. Ha! Topicel | ![]() topicel

14/1/2010 08:10 | Blue start............... K | kumala
13/1/2010 22:55 | Cadbury should stay independent - Kraft only want this to asset strip, and pay their debt down. They've already made their plans to close plants and sell as much as they can. | ![]() three days
13/1/2010 18:07 | Ok Monty, I'l be at my screen early tomorrow with a hot cup of coffee by my side, £8.75 would be just the ticket right now. be good to spike up to around that figure then a nice little retrace to around £8.15 to settle the day at circa £8.40 - £8.50, that would make my day, (at present this is hopefull prediction, but tomorrow night when we look back it will be in hindsight) Ha. Hope you getting me up early tomoz Monty will be all worth it. Talk tomorrow. K | kumala
13/1/2010 16:50 | Kumala - Thanks, belatedly. The earlier post (Indomie 793) about a joint structure with Hershey would be feasible and retain the Britishness of the Company for future benefits for both shareholders and employees. | ![]() broadwood
13/1/2010 16:47 | Hershey to bid alone as well, this could go to 875p. | ![]() montyhedge

13/1/2010 16:17 | Nice to see this stady rise up through the day, blue blue blue. slowly but surely the share price is remaining pretty steady considering. K | kumala
13/1/2010 13:01 | We got our fingers crossed broadway, lots going on behind the scenes i suspect, and i for one are hoping for an outcome of above £8.50, it will all come out in the wash as they say, good luck budy. K | kumala
12/1/2010 16:56 | Bit late to the party but I reckon there's decent upside possibility and not much downside if all suitors pack up and go home. | ![]() broadwood
12/1/2010 08:16 | The fight goes on. A very robust defence with headline figures, more detail on Friday. 10% dividend is attractive and now adding words such as 'unattractive' to 'derisory' when describing Kraft's offer - among other similar soundbites from Chairman Roger Carr as he tours the Sky, BBC and Bloomberg studios on the attack. He still talked, when pressed, of 'independent valuations and shareholder implications that mid-£8 would be needed to create value above the growth and prospects that Cadbury were announcing today. Bloomberg's guest analyst spent five minutes on it and reiterated his 'hold' stance as he felt more would play out very late in the day. No doubt it will, but still happy with a good dividend and if we stay independent then equally 'happy' with a slip back to £7.00 per share if need be. A bit like drawing teeth, but that's the game I suppose. Can you take it? Topicel | ![]() topicel
10/1/2010 20:45 | i think kraft will add a little more cash and win this. the irony is that the original bid with more shares will turn out to be the best offer in the long run. | ![]() careful
10/1/2010 20:40 | i am not that sure about shorting anything anymore. the above scenario was just a possibility i am hoping for. trying to predict the behaviour of this lunatic asylum of the stock market in the short term is impossible. | ![]() careful
10/1/2010 19:30 | Careful: if you're sure it's going to 600p or below, why not just short it? | only who?
09/1/2010 15:43 | i am still waiting in the wings to buy back in. kraft may walk away and not one else would come up with such a big offer. buffett would not approve of much more than 10 billion. he is smart, and more important, uncorruptable. ('recommend this deal and there is a 5 million bonus waiting' etc etc) i will be back at about 600p. things will go very quiet, then a sharp correction in the market when the hedge funds go short on some excuse. It will be back in my portfolio during the panic....580p...luve | ![]() careful |
