"Current trading and outlook

Despite the loss for the year, the underlying trends are good, with increased
turnover and margins. We remain positive and believe the group is moving in the
right direction. But for the loss on the discontinued operation and adverse
exchange fluctuations the group would be reporting that it is profitable.

The trading performance of all our businesses continues to improve and the group
will endeavour to achieve further growth and increased efficiencies, to better
the overall results. With the disposal of P&D Electrical Services we are now
able to concentrate on our core businesses and every indication is that both our
engineering and leisure divisions are competitive in stable and growing markets.

As always I must thank the management, staff and our advisers for their
continued support and contributions to our group."

Just in case anyone had forgotten what the chairman stated in the Annual Report! Last year's Interim was announced on the 21st so can we expect profitable figures to be released next week which, in turn, will send the share price into orbit, giving us all a merry Christmas?

Because we don't know what they are doing with our/their company the share price drifts
and this continues as an unloved unlovely share. Managers if you see this tell us.

do we have the menu yet for shareholder refreshment at said agm?

those who have travelled from afar may require something more substantial
than the finger buffet and bridge rolls sometimes on offer at such gatherings.

if the cold weather persists, a hot entree might be appreciated.

Unfortunately we didn't achieve anything the last time we tried that, whilest2, on the consolidation issue. Having explored all possible avenues of official complaint then, I'm reluctant to bang my head against a brick again.

I'm resigned to hoping that some news is forthcoming at next week's AGM (not overly optimistic however). If nothing is disclosed, may decide to finally bite the bullet!

There must be some 'good'/not so good? news or something on the way as their website on the Malta holidays has been suspended for some time. Also they appear to have contracts with educational establishments to house student/tourists to Malta.

Does anyone know if the former chairman's inheritance has now passed through to his son, the new M.D ?

After the 30% buy-back of the high voting shares (pre the share consolidation) at a big discount to today's price, maybe the chart is signalling that the son has a deal or two up his sleeve now that he's in the driving seat ?

Anyone in Cardiff with local knowledge ?
