24/10/2007 15:20 | except the website lol | bbbb
24/10/2007 13:34 | web site on Malta still down. Something's up. | whilest2
19/10/2007 15:55 | just a wee puff of smoke - Baileys website ad for the Malta operation has been removed and not replaced for some time - does this indicate a radical chnge in the nature of the use of the hotel and site? | whilest2
19/10/2007 12:41 | must be entering a new paradigm.. | chrisdgb
19/10/2007 12:36 | looks like you've stopped moaning now, whilest2 !!!!! | callumross
19/10/2007 12:32 | looks like the mm's are shaking the trees with the bid. | whilest2
19/10/2007 11:58 | ansc: if plans for maltese and tanzanian leisure, residential and recreational facilities are due early uplift in a style befitting of those favouring marine personal transportation and living solutions, such announcement may not be needed. perhaps some kind of linkup with the permanent non-dom cruising apparthotel could be on the cards. Could be real synergy there - ship maintenance in malta, exotic entertainment and budget possibilities in tanzania. a story like that could make space travel local for the sp! | bbbb
19/10/2007 10:26 | When should we expect the company announcing "We have noted the recent sharp increase in the company's share price....."? But what will follow the opening gambit? | ansc
19/10/2007 09:09 | Looks primed for a major move - people are beginning to chat - I tried to buy some more first thing this morning and my dealer found there was already somebody checking the price ahead of me - MERRILLS clearly do not want to deal and WINS are either short or they are building up a book position. At the risk of being laughed at I am now thinking in terms of 400p to 500p as my target range, but anybody who is not already on board is now going to find it extremely difficult to accumulate a decent stake. | mesquida
18/10/2007 14:25 | the price action suggests double the estimates so far would still be cheap. part of the almost permanent undervaluation here results from a perception that the owners are happy to see a low valuation, as control could never be bought near such low levels, and tired specu;ators eventually sell to the patient. | bbbb
18/10/2007 12:15 | absolutely agree - not only Malta but also Tanzania. My view is dyor - but £2+ per share at least. It took very little trading to double - but the only way to settle this volatile and unreliable market rise and fall is with news - and there must be much to come......hopefully. | whilest2
18/10/2007 07:56 | ansc - you would be well advised to wait for the identity of the joint development partner before jumping ship. Your price target of 150p could prove to be far too low - after all, the family put a large chunk of money in at about 130p and the potential in Malta has increased significantly since then. Again I would refer you all to the comments made recently by the hugely respected MORRISON CONSTRUCTION. | mesquida
17/10/2007 16:24 | no-one may want to deal (including holders minded to profit take) if the kind of action here could include that sort of price surge, except some small buyers looking for a double or quits style gamble. | bbbb
17/10/2007 16:15 | once winterfloods 135p is taken out , the next offer price is 160p by MLSB who incredibly have increased their spread from 20p to 40p and halved the market size from 1000 shares to 500. Get the impression they don't want to deal! | callumross
17/10/2007 10:30 | whilest2: when there could be surplus of those seeking the comforts of riding on a long-established business and occasional orgies of grabbing rare profit opportunity as a result, 10% may seem little enough protection! | bbbb
17/10/2007 10:16 | and you call that a market? with a spread of 10%!!!!!! Lets see what happens to rip van winkle | whilest2
17/10/2007 09:43 | nevertheless, there's an elegant charm in the way that old fashioned family businesses can opt out of the instant macgratification which so many nowadays expect. if an unhurried decision may be made, let's not be ovrerly hasty, lest those accustomed to a more leisured age be disappointed. | bbbb
17/10/2007 09:23 | Well that spike lasted a whole hour today! Must have been another 5k sold causing it to drop.... Time limit? You must be joking! Any long-term holder will confirm that 'time' and 'BLEY' have never, ever been bed partners!! | ansc
17/10/2007 08:51 | ansc: will you be putting any sort of time limit on that thinking process once it's underway? | bbbb
17/10/2007 08:46 | How long will this dizzy height be held today? Yesterday it was all of 20 minutes - until someone had the temerity to sell 5000 shares! Unfortunately, I've decided to wait until at least 150p before I can think of jumping ship!! | ansc
11/10/2007 21:04 | Just re-reading the results, trying to be independent, it does sound like a good story could be emerging. I think Tanzania could surprise everyone. Africa is becoming a big theme. Still no one had a guess at the freehold breakdown??? we should run a prize draw.....any suggestions for prizes?? 2 nights in Newport/Malta/Beho Beho... | deep powder
07/10/2007 20:10 | whilst-its a pleasure to see you talking more postively about your shareholding here. Its very interesting to note we have seen a series of buy orders above the offer price over the last month. Like mesquida (strange name) I am very interested in the 'HSBC' buyer who has bought several 10's of thousands over the last month or so. it does feel like the shares are consolidating above the 100p level. Don't forget the family bought shares at 126p.......and the see through NAV is well above 300p BEFORE any planning or development gains. | bigbullman2
05/10/2007 12:23 | Malta site still off the chb web. Something must be cooking - expect an announcement shortly or at the agm imho. | whilest2 |
