31/3/2020 08:19 | ps share price looking strong again. | 1gw
31/3/2020 08:18 | Hand sanitiser is a relatively small part of byotrol's revenues isn't it? Surface sanitisation and pet are much bigger product areas I think. What byotrol does have is years of product development in terms of IP and in terms of going through regulatory hoops in the EU and the US to get product formulations and labelling cleared. That is why companies whose products are at risk from the new regulations have been coming to byot to use their technology. And that is why it is so hard for other companies quickly to catch up with byotrol. | 1gw
31/3/2020 07:55 | Loaf, They can't keep up with demand because they have supply chain issues. Other companies are building factories within 10days to manufacture sanitiser to give to NHS for free.. Several distilleries are manufacturing sanitiser to Who's requirements, ie alcohol based sanitiser,, Byot's is not alcohol based.. | sikhthetech
30/3/2020 20:36 | He's like a Dalek "share price gone up, cannot compute, cannot compute. Does not contain alcohol, cannot compute"! | mutley28
30/3/2020 20:21 | You're making yourself look very silly STTeeeee | techair
30/3/2020 20:14 | Lockdown: Given majority of people are in lockdown at home, I would have thought that they would be using SOAP and WATER, again as recommended by WHO/CDC/HSE, as opposed to hand sanitiser. Therefore, the longer the lockdown continues, more soap/water will be used, the less demand from the public to buy hand sanitiser!! | sikhthetech
30/3/2020 20:09 | Incidentally STTeeeeee alcohol doesn't kill norovirus | techair

30/3/2020 19:53 | PUG "Thank you for confirming that alcohol and bleach have NO residual effect - That is why - If you can find it Byotrol 24 is preferable especially for hard surfaces such as phones, door handles" Covid-19: How long does the coronavirus last on surfaces? "But the NIH study found that the Sars-CoV-2 virus survives for longer on cardboard – up to 24 hours – and up to 2-3 days on plastic and stainless-steel surfaces. (Learn how to clean your mobile phone properly.) The findings suggest the virus might last this long on door handles, plastic-coated or laminated worktops and other hard surfaces." But there is a speedier option: research has shown that coronaviruses can be inactivated within a minute by disinfecting surfaces with 62-71% alcohol, or 0.5% hydrogen peroxide bleach or household bleach containing 0.1% sodium hypochlorite. With the lockdown, I would think majority of people at home would use soap/water, as recommended by WHO/CDC and regularly clean surfaces as described above. | sikhthetech
30/3/2020 19:34 | Some virus strains are becoming up to 10 times more tolerant to alcohol now. Times are changing STTeeeeeeee | techair
30/3/2020 18:51 | sckthetick - Thank you for confirming that alcohol and bleach have NO residual effect - That is why - If you can find it Byotrol 24 is preferable especially for hard surfaces such as phones, door handles - key pads etc | pugugly
30/3/2020 18:12 | PUG, "Alcohol like bleach is effective on contact but once dried has NO residual impact - Hence Byotrol with its residual action will give much longer protection e&oe." The powers in charge, WHO/CDC/HSE recommend what govns should use. Their advice is clear, use ALCOHOL BASED sanitiser... It makes no difference what you or any company claims, it's their advice which counts. In terms of longer protection, for years hospitals have ALREADY cleaned after EVERY event and do regular cleaning for MRSA, C-DIFF etc. During the current outbreak I suspect people are already using cleaning products or sanitiser SEVERAL times a day. I doubt anyone thinks that they won't bother cleaning more than once a day because 'the product claims it lasts 24hrs'!!! The powers to be decide what to use... WHO: "Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub if your hands are not visibly dirty." CDC: "If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty." Also would majority of people use a major product like DETTOL OR BYOT? Dettol "If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer" | sikhthetech
30/3/2020 17:27 | Yup. The bit before and the bit after. | loafofbread
30/3/2020 17:18 | What does the update say? - I can only find the one from 27th March which includes the sentence: "At this time we cannot say when Byotrol24 will be available for purchase by the general public." | 1gw
30/3/2020 17:12 | If the Tristel deal is a road map for the Byotrol24 deal then we can look forward to pan USA and rest of world. Quite incredible. | loafofbread
30/3/2020 16:51 | Best in Class Simple as that | best1467
30/3/2020 16:43 | Alcohol like bleach is effective on contact but once dried has NO residual impact - Hence Byotrol with its residual action will give much longer protection e&oe. "No other FDA compliant hand antiseptic claims more." | pugugly
30/3/2020 16:42 | Another decent piece, just up on the Byotrol news page. I like the way they are updating their partner/clients around the world as we go. | loafofbread
30/3/2020 12:12 | While the making of the Tristel deal was first announced in the 2019 AR, the terms and extent of the deal were not, hence the share price languished until it's materiality was more recently made much clearer. Alcohol is recommended by the WHO and NHS simply due to its known efficacy and generally wide availability. Alternatives are of course available and may even offer better performance...nobody is saying alcohol is best-in-class. | milesy
30/3/2020 12:05 | How long is alcohol based santiser effective for STT? | techair
30/3/2020 11:22 | slice, Are you saying the government/WHO/CDC are wrong in their advice to use alcohol based sanitiser??? The UK govn is following WHO requirements for new companies to manufacture sanitiser... I would expect every govn in the world to follow WHO's advise... No wonder you and your mates are desperate for me to stop posting - facts and company news rattles | sikhthetech
30/3/2020 11:20 | Just to clarify Byotrol make alcohol hand gel too and sell it through Medimark. Still think 6p is on the cards rising to nearer 7 in the week or next week. | cambourne |
