I have followed the fortunes of Byotrol for a decade now and believe that their time has perhaps arrived,for the magnitude of jam due tomorrow is currently standing at an unprecedented level.

With another 2 million BYOT shares bought today, there must be a significant compensating sell order in the system, with maybe a holding RNS to follow.

Whatever size the background BYOT sale order stands at,the buyers are eating into it steadily with another £25k invested into Byotrol shares over the past two days.The share price might have edged down,yet the level of my confidence over the potential for this company stock to far outperform the market remains undimmed.

No way that 500k is a sale. You cannot have a no bid online at 1.9p and then somebody turn up with 500k and they give them 1.92p

Never known a stock like this. It's nearly always no quote to sell, all the way up from 1.55p there's only been brief times when you can get a sell quote.

Except,dave,that there is no "1.95p bid",nor a 1.90p bid for that matter.
Nevertheless,I would agree that this technicality has not prevented the BYOT quote from moving up swiftly this week.
Potentially, we will see the strong upward trend continuing for some time yet,even though setbacks might well occur along the way.

It's been like that all the way up, most of the time they do not quote to sell but it' s not stopped the price was rising from 1.65p bid to 1.95p bid in a week

That would be good Dave,althoughI have my doubts;for the two large trades look like a roll over,whilst the fact that a quote to sell is not available,even at 1.9 pence would seem to confirm this.

No need to worry over such minutiae though,for the share price will perform well should we see a positive news flow being established somewhere down the line.

Telling you there is no Ruffer selling for me.

The mm's are being fed by 1.55-1.6p pi's selling and taking profits but the sustained new buyers are going to take this back over 2p soon

In this very thin AIM market much depends on what Ruffler does until we get some positive news, perhaps on the US FDA approvals due in Q1. 2p should be very doable considering that directors were buying some decent amounts at 3.7p and 3.8p only 4 months ago, following the purchase of Medimark. I'm looking for very much higher than 2p over the next 12 months.

Well at the last count,Ruffer still held 21,499,899 BYOT shares,so there are few more to absorb before the share price can be unshackled.

2p should be doable though !

"Discretionary clients" are often a grey area.

Ruffer policy states that as :-

"An alternative to volatile equity investments they offers a discretionary investment management service to institutional clients including pension funds, family offices, corporations, investment companies and insurance companies. We may give advice as part of this service.

Institutions that invest with Ruffer can have their own segregated portfolio, or invest via a pooled fund.

Segregated portfolios can be tailored to clients’ requirements – to incorporate investment restrictions, for example – providing complete transparency to the underlying investments.

As at 30 November 2018, institutional clients accounted for £13.1 billion of Ruffer’s £21.1 billion of assets under management."

It could be then that the discretionary client accepts the direction of Ruffer, which in relation to BYOT may or may not be to sell.

Ruffer's position in Byot held on behalf of discretionary clients. Does this mean the client rather than Ruffer would have instructed the sale?

I'm certain RUFFER have way less or nothing, the huge volumes the other suggest they are out and if not nobody else has come forward to account for the rest. One new buyer appeared but still miles short of 80 mil volume in 2 days

It looks as though the BYOT share price is about to move back towards fair value at a rate of knots, now that Ruffer have curtailed the recent dumping of the majority of their holding at that ludicrous 1.55 pence level.

Nevertheless, Ruffer still hold 21 million shares,which could yet lead to future weakness if they intend to fully exit their position.

Thanks. Director buying much higher up and then again more recently. Also like the attitude of mgt that 5hey state they have no appetite for getting close to position where fundraising needed. I bought this and genedrive.
