Enthusiastic investors can this morning buy BYOT shares in size at 3.20 pence; below the recent placing price of 3.25.

a deep hole being dug behind the cart would not be good news Muddy, if my theory is correct. Especially if they're planning to fill it with the corpses of Byotrol investors who have topped themselves.

Luckily I won't be one of them as I sold out quite a while ago.

Apologies for not having anything sensible to say about this stock. For some reason nothing comes to mind.

Very imaginative shrout.

What if there is a deep hole being dug just behind the cart ?

re. #2714

Muddy, if you take a line from the man on the left up to the donkey's head, down its back, up and down along the line of its load and then back up to the handler's head, it roughly resembles the BYOT chart over the last 12 months.

If there's someone really tall, or another suspended donkey just out of shot behind the handler, you could all be in luck over the coming weeks...

I just thought you'd appreciate a bit of in-depth financial analysis on this stock.

... I would have posted the image and the chart together but I couldn't make the damn thing work.

Actually I lost too much on Byotrol. Not more than I can afford, but too much. I still hold some shares but I'll forget about them and look at the price in 5 years unless it disappears in the meantime which seems very likely indeed.

Small science companies have done very well for me over the last few years but this is a dud.

Incidentally, you mention the tie up being good for sales. Well the tie up with KC was a complete waste of time and did nothing . No reason to think Solvay will be any better.

Time to move on

I thinks it's a "same old, same old" play. We have been hearing the same rubbish from various management incarnations for years. Profitability is always just around the corner but strangely never arrives. Last year they even told us they were profitable on a month on month basis. What a load of nonsense.

It WAS a great product but has never gained any traction so it will probably disappear like so many other "great" products. ( polarised car headlamps for instance)

I have decided to stuff a large number of £10 notes down the toilet. It will be the same as investing in Byotrol but takes up much less time.

Its just another dilution for those not involved in the handout. Add that to the dilution from the incentive schemes if the company ever did make any money and it becomes a very poor investment.
Like many AIM companies, run to provide a fat salary + extras for a few lucky individuals.

With an effective purchase price of 2.175p for EIS qualifying individuals only one way I can see the share price going.

Cheers for that.
I do feel responsible for any losses incurred through investing here as I did feel euphoric over its prospects some 30 months ago.

For " balance " read "only positive comment to be posted, whatever the facts"

What seems to be overlooked is that despite all this "great news" and the wonderful fundraising, the shareprice is falling. There is no appetite out there for buying Byotrol shares. Even "great news" such as the Solvay tie up are ignored because some of us still remember the KC deal.

I don't think the product/technology has captured the imagination as I had hoped it would and it's now all taken too long. The next big thing will be out there soon.

I did not feel that the Fairy Liquid part of the article carried much impact for BYOT investors.
My apologies !
Could I suggest,Shroder, that you consider promoting a new thread, which I promise not to sully with anymore "selective smippets without balance",or indeed any contribution at all.
Cheers.ROAO.

(Btw,my questions remain unanswered.)

"If this has been discussed in "infinite detail" over the past 6 months then I must be going selectively blind."

Perhaps, but why edit news articles to give an out of context meaning?

"The BYOT thread has been pretty well conducted for some time now.
It would be good to keep it that way."

I couldn't agree more, so lets post all of the information instead of selective smippets without balance.

Example, you say "Tesco and Boots will not enthuse over either, imo." accompanied by a large red graphic. What you fail to mention is Tesco have just renewed their contract for a further 18 months, that sounds pretty enthusiastic to me?

Byotrol covers the subject in detail here:

If this has been discussed in "infinite detail" over the past 6 months then I must be going selectively blind.
Not wishing to be classified as a "complete drama queen" ,(LOL!!!) possibly the adjudicator would summarise Byotrol's current position.
Is it considered to be one or even more of the "250" formulations?
Is it now PHMB free ?
Does "rebalanced" mean that the original Byotrol formulation is dead in the water?
Dr Francis punted for the long grass with several of his responses.
Possibly Shroder can provide enhanced clarity.

The BYOT thread has been pretty well conducted for some time now.
It would be good to keep it that way.

mudbath, you are acting like a complete drama queen. This has been discussed in infinite detail for the last 6 months at least, why have you only now decided to take an interest?

The Telegraph article which you carefully edited was for the most part talking about Fairy Liquid but you presented it to seem otherwise.

Apart from covering this topic in the accounts, annual report there have been three detailed responses published by Dawn Marshall.

"Though the classifications may have changed and some of the red and black pictograms look more worrisome than before, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the product you used safely yesterday is more dangerous than today, it’s just a different way of communicating the hazards of the product.

All these classifications are supported with appropriate Precautionary Statements just as they were previously to ensure that the products continue to be used and handled in a safe and responsible manner."
