I've now tried my 3 nearest Boots and you can't get the Byotrol hand cleanser in any of them. BYT says they're getting revenue from the new product, but it isn't listed on their website and certainly isn't in stores.

There's still a gap between ambition and execution.

Tosco are knocking out the Byotrol cleaner at £0.70 now

or you can have the cheepo anti bac generic version @ £0.50:

And Dettol (anti bac) was marked at a quid a go (in store)

Sounds like a race to the bottom on the cleaner stakes.

Not everyone is as impressed though.
From the pen of IdeasByScience:-

"That’s an enviable list of customers / prospects that have not delivered – the comment attached to Rentokil perhaps explains perfectly why Byotrol is where it is: seeing day and saying it is night. To use a metaphor, the emperor’s new clothes fit but are very run of the mill style wise.
Keep on passing the tests, but we are out at 4p, bitterly disappointed with an in at 13p."

It may come right for BYOT but I too am now out.

Hi Muddo (yes, long time no see), firth and all Byoteers. Results look ok to me (a meaningless statement)and technicals are starting to look promising (I've said that before and regretted it).

But could this be the turning point? The Jim Crowley effect? I live in hope.

I haven't paid much attention to these since participating in the placing last year (the company seems to have a zero communications policy), but I see the AGM is in London this year, so I think I will go along to hear what they are all about and to fire a few questions

from the chairman's statement:

I do encourage you to come and see us at our AGM. Last year we had some very searching questions and received some excellent free advice from experienced shareholders. We welcome the two-way communication and hope for even more questions this year. After 2 years of holding the AGM in our offices, which is definitely our preference, we have decided to hold this year's meeting in London in order to encourage those southern shareholders who would like to come but would otherwise be discouraged by the journey north.

Be careful what you wish for!

Sorry shrout(long time no see)but its only a bit of "off topic",to help alleviate the building lassitude brought about through my involvement with Byotrol.

Jim Crowley may,or may not,be a route to my securing a tranche of new investment money. .Not at 7-1 though;although this might start to look a bit tasty by the end of Wednesday 17th August, imo.

Very interesting Mudbath. Got an interest at 7-1.Seems a bit thin when 66-1 was available.

Its going to be an interesting last few weeks.

I have got what looks like fungus on my fruit trees. Do you think 'Byotrol' might shift it???

Former Jump Jockey Jim Crowley has set his eyes on winning his first Stobart Flat Jockeys’ Championship this year, after an outstanding first half of the season has propelled Crowley into second place in the championship table. Speaking in his Racing Plus column he said he has “made the decision to give it a real go this year.”

Only 9 winners behind reigning Champion Jockey and current leader Silvestre De Sousa, Crowley said he would “be going everywhere I can over coming weeks to see where that takes me in the race.”

With the support of agent Tony Hind (who masterminded Ryan Moore and Richard Hughes’ Championship-winning seasons) behind him, he is not doubting the challenge that faces him. But with a pre-season fitness regime that has kept him as “fresh as paint,” he said the “challenge and hard work” excites him.

Now as low as 7-1 in the betting,Jim has been backed from 66-1 over the past two weeks to secure the title.
