Lead us, Evolution, lead us
Up the future's endless stair:
Chop us, change us, prod us, weed us.
For stagnation is despair:
Groping, guessing, yet progressing,
Lead us nobody knows where.
Wrong or justice in the present,
Joy or sorrow, what are they
While there's always jam to-morrow,
While we tread the onward way?
Never knowing where we're going,
We can never go astray.

I am looking for solid progress towards profitability.
As a backstop,Solvay could well put BYOT out of its misery with an agreed bid.

Whichever way the cards fall,3.25 pence looks something of a steal.

Last years interims were on the 25th of Nov. Have the company said what day to expect them this year?
What is your minimum expectation Mudbath please?

wisecat2 is right about the significant trades;sufficient possibly to generate a holdings RNS.
It cannot be the BOD as we are in a closed period,so we are looking at a little external stake building.
An announcement by Solvay that they were interested in over 3% would serve to shift the BYOT share price onto a new trajectory.

The renewed attraction for me shrout, has been the prominence accorded to Dr Francis. At last Byotrol has a clear and exceedingly knowledgeable spokesperson who commands the respect of our technical and commercial partners.

Should this weeks Interim report provide further reassurance that a positive EBITDA figure is achievable in the second half then any risk involved for investors should diminish whilst the potential rewards could become more visible.

Definitely interesting,imo.

I went out with her a couple of times (hopefully while you were divorced, the slag!). Got my fingers lightly singed over a candle-lit dinner. Haven't been able to see the attraction since.

Are you sure she hasn't just slapped on a load of new make-up?

I actually divorced BYOT for an extended period shrout.
Recently though her attractions have outweighed the ugly side.
Not love then.
More like taking advantage.

"Never fall in love with a share"... one of the first rules of investing, Muddy. I've wondered for quite a while whether that's exactly what you've done here.

It may work out for you, and I sincerely hope it does. But beware, that's all I can say really.

Whilst some choose to snooze, others are quietly adding at just 3.35 pence.
Timing is everything.
Byotrol is undoubtedly better placed to gain some traction than has ever been the case.
The share price meanwhile remains close to the floor of its trading range.

It's rather eerie being the lone voice on this thread.
Nevertheless Byotrol is imo a good place to be invested at the moment.
At sub 3.50 pence to buy the shares look something of a steal.

Definitely on their way up;maybe quite sharply and maybe very soon.
You heard it here first !

Holchem’s head of product, research and development, Dr Jim Taylour recently presented to the Provision Trade Federation on behalf of the British Association of Chemical Specialities (BACS) of which Holchem are members, including input from other Association members Sealed Air, Selden, Byotrol and the HSE.

The presentation covered the regulatory challenges faced by the food industry and options on how they could be solved.

Their conclusion was that costs of disinfectants would rise whilst the number of disinfectants and biocidal actives in the market would reduce.

This is similar to the message conveyed in Byotrol's recent interim results.
Maybe, just maybe,BYOT have the right products available at the right time in the right markets.

itsamaybe posted the following positive appraisal over on lse.

"I agree it would be good to hear more about the Solvay arrangement.
The Solvay execs. arrived at Daresbury the day after the AGM. Seems they are keen to move on, and making the effort. I believe that Solvay have a fundamental need for biocides in their product line but do not want to develop their own department or laboratories etc within their organisation. The two parties appear to have proven, for themsleves at least, that their products match and show some significant USPs.
Byotrol is becoming unintentionally, perhaps, the recognised experts on biocide technology and regulation. The team is very committed and genuinely of high calibre, mostly from senior posts/roles in Unilever. So a comfortable fit for such a major company as Solvay.
Historically, there have been some other promising deals but they have not profited. Today, however, there is a CEO with real focus on high value products that will deliver, getting rid of all distractions, and ensuring there is the marketing resources to follow through, 100%. I hope the November? update will tell us more."

itsamaybe posts rarely and only on the BYOT thread.
The more I have read his post, the more I thing he could be involved within the company.

I hope so battlebus2,although one can buy in size this morning at a fraction over the selling price whilst not being able to sell any.

The interim results are due to be published in the week commencing November 30th.
This is a little later than usual.Possibly news on the final short term ISS NHS trial is awaited.
