A happy new year to Byotrol investors.

With a fair wind we could well see the share price treble in 2016.(imo)

BYOT is therefore a key component of all my share competition entries.

Solvay, Novecare, ISS, NHS, EPA, ++ now EBITDA positive.

No wonder there is a buyer mopping up as weak holders exit.

Bring it on !!

muddy.

From what I can see, you can forget the NHS with the byot stuff as is.

The chemicals used are iffy for people with breathing problems (huge % of the nhs customer base)

It's too expensive compared to the tried and tested box tick stuff (bleach etc)

I originally bought into byot for the nhs potential, but even with the bug hysteria in full flight, they still couldn't flog it.

The pets thing is an also ran as far as I am concerned, and even that is full of issues.

Perhaps the new formula will change the outlook, but who knows...do you?

"I am content that breakeven is imminent and that the balance sheet is strong. The figures look a bit challenging but there are known donations coming in this half. And I do continue to see margin improvement and focus where it matters.

My principle argument to hold is Solvay. A formal deal has been signed and they are actively marketing completed products with large volume customers. While discussions seem a bit challenging or bureaucratic, I have a reasonable expectation that a small company is soon going to sell to some large ones, the contrast leading to a significant shift in Byotrol's value.

The NHS deal looks like it will make it through to the end - this feels less dynamic than Solvay but again formal contracts have been signed and if sales finally begin in volume with hundreds of hospitals, including a broadening of the application to medical areas, then I believe it will be a long term stable relationship very difficult to be challenged.

EPA has some time and effort to go. But there is confidence Byotrol will get there. Looking to hear of large scale partnerships. But see this as medium term in terms of actual sales. Though also as an asset on the balance sheet.

A further potential is mentioned due to Byotrol, unlike many larger PLCs in this sector, making significant efforts to meet the demands of new rules regulations, turning a negative into a positive. It is probably harder for big organisations to make the necessary timely decisions to redesign their products. Certainly this seems to be the case from Byotrol discussions.

Core business is OK for now and paying the bills, with continous improvements going on.

But notable Solvay sales volume is what is needed, I believe, in the relatively near future to put shareholders minds at rest. With the NHS coming along close behind, also with relatively near term sales indicating strong future growth.
With such in place Byotrol's increasing resources would then allow it to market and vary their products to a new level altogether. So Solvay and NHS/ISS? Look forward to good outcomes. Predicted in next 6 months. Buying shares all about timing."

Thanks Itsamaybe.

For me,the award of a further option package is the most bullish aspect of today's announcements.
They might be exercisable, long term, between 3 December 2016 and 3 June 2023;yet the key date is surely December 3rd 2016 at which time 100% may be exercised should the share price exceed ten pence.
As PUGUGLY says only the future will reveal if Byotrol's "three strategic "big" bets" will prove successful;in his opinion an even money shot.
Working on the time frame outlined in today's interims,BYOT(and investing partner Solvay)will by then know how those three strands are performing.
Should say two of the three look set to generate significant, but future, uplifts to BYOT revenues and profitability then it would make commercial sense for Solvay to absorb our company, with the 10 pence upper range figure obviously the target for the Byotrol option holders.
The odds then imo favour holding on, for those invested at circa 3.25 pence;at least on a twelve month view, over which period news flow from BYOT should provide further indications as to whether that 50-50 call needs to be adjusted.

But options have trigger points - If they can get to the 10p trigger then I suspect many holders will be relieved. Francis has so far steered the products through the regulations BUT as brownson eloquently points out we will only know if they will be successful in due course - (imo) 50-50 chance.

All the Options are exercisable at 3.5 pence per Ordinary Share between 3 December 2016 and 3 June 2023, subject to the following performance conditions:

-- 40 per cent. of the granted Options (1,820,000 options) will be exercisable only between 3 December 2016 and 3 June 2019, if the Company's share price has reached 5 pence per Ordinary Share and remained so for 30 consecutive days between 3 December 2015 and 3 December 2018.

-- 30 per cent. of the granted Options (1,365,000 Options) will be exercisable only between 3 December 2016 and 3 June 2021 if the Company's share price has reached 7.5 pence per Ordinary Share and remained so for 30 consecutive days between 3 December 2015 and 3 December 2020.

-- 30 per cent. of the granted Options (1,365,000 Options) will be exercisable only between 3 December 2016 and 3 June 2023 if the Company's share price has reached 10 pence per Ordinary Share and remained so for 30 consecutive days between 3 December 2015 and 3 December 2022.

Lead us, Evolution, lead us
Up the future's endless stair:
Chop us, change us, prod us, weed us.
For stagnation is despair:
Groping, guessing, yet progressing,
Lead us nobody knows where.
Wrong or justice in the present,
Joy or sorrow, what are they
While there's always jam to-morrow,
While we tread the onward way?
Never knowing where we're going,
We can never go astray.
