15/7/2003 16:57 | Just looking at the results announcements 29/11/02 and 20/06/03 For H1 (29/11/02) Loss = 446k For FY (20/06/03) Loss = 383k My simple maths tells me that this means BSG made a H2 profit of 63k (equiv to 0.075p per share). Does this mean that the business is now cash generative AND has no debt as per Safman's comment on 12th June. And if they have 7.6m in cash (CR 13/07/03), this is the equiv of 9p per share. | ejudge
13/7/2003 14:19 | took profits on mine late last week. Cash from interims to finals rose 0.3m to 7.6m but I think the pace of increase in the shareprice will now slow and there are better value stocks elsewhere. In during mid May at 5p, out last week at 7.5p - 50% less my dealing in 2 months is fine by me. Seems to be several penny stocks that may be well oversold - moved some of this moneyfrom BSG into HAR last week - they lost just 0.07p this first half compared to 2.65p last year - at that rate of improvement they could well see decent earnings per share for the year compared to their 1.4p offer price, especially with director buying and positive sounding statement with results. Although BSG may be a buy still, HAR compare even better imo. Good luck to all that keep holding BSG - still some left in it imo. D | cockneyrebel
11/7/2003 00:47 | If you like IT and s/w companies then check out TCC. Ive been trying to ramp it (unsuccessfully). Its been overlooked this rally. | hugepants
10/7/2003 23:48 | we are running a competition for the most undervalued stock, on the market at the moment, as of the 10th july 2003 - BSG - have it by a mile. | international
10/7/2003 22:48 | Fair point but how liquid is property in this market? | wjccghcc
10/7/2003 22:44 | For TCC the market cap is almost totally covered by freehold property ie. business valued at zip. And, despite poor 1st half, its historically profitable with eps of around 12 for the last 3 years. So similar to BSG in many ways (instead of cash think freeholds). However I agree BSG probably even cheaper/safer just now. Stream Group (SEA) also has to be worth a look. | hugepants
10/7/2003 16:37 | TCC results don't look particularly inspiring. Can't see a compelling reason to buy. | wjccghcc
10/7/2003 10:33 | Now did anyone check out IEN... if u think BSG is cheap...look at the growth potential on IEN.. check out their technology... ps. If Buying goes further tempted to to up with another 50K... | safman
10/7/2003 10:27 | It's getting there - market cap £6.5m, getting towards the cash in the business now, right too. CR | cockneyrebel
10/7/2003 09:58 | Someone is accumalating these or a buy order is being filled. I've been watching these over the last week..from 6.25/7p and the MMs are absorbing any sells and moving the price bit by bit. So I reckon this may move higher yet. This stock is very illiquid so moves fairly quickly on small volume. | hari
10/7/2003 08:36 | I wonder if the fact the CEO owns 55% makes people nervous? The balance sheet is better than at first glance since 40% of creditors are accruals and deferred revenues hence a portion will disappear in the P/L account. And there is also a small investment in the compnay's own shares currently worth about 0.25p a share. Revenues are large compared to market cap (and up 10% in a dire market) and cash flow positive second half so , yes, on fundamentals its too cheap IMO. I hold. | hugepants
10/7/2003 08:22 | You have to be patient with this one... Good Luck ... | safman
10/7/2003 08:21 | Lets face it the stocks very cheap if I.T. expenditure makes any sort of recovery. The upturn will come, companies do not defer projects forever, just a matter of being patient while being comfortable the market cap is underwritten with cash. | drw1
10/7/2003 00:35 | Guys moving up now.. Recent large trades over the lasty couple of days which looked sells..may well have been buys now. | hari
02/7/2003 15:26 | Spread is tiny now and the MMs seem to have quite a lot of stock. Can purchase 100K online at the moment. I bought some today because looks extremely cheap compared to other IT stocks. | hugepants
02/7/2003 11:48 | Looks like the T+10ers and the hot money has cleaaed ..it maybe the time to buy in | hari
02/7/2003 11:48 | Looks like the T+10ers and the hot money has cleaaed ..it maybe the time to get buy in.. | hari
02/7/2003 11:29 | SOme buying interest again today guys. 3x 100k buys | hari
25/6/2003 10:40 | That shows that this one is improving all the time.. mms are showing more confidence ..hence the spread... and for the fact that this is illiquid, buying should push this up quicker... | safman
25/6/2003 10:33 | Price ticks up on another 100k buy. Also market size increased to 2000 so only a hour delay in reporting "O" trades >6*NMS, as opposed to the 2 hour delay previously. Regards | tony14
25/6/2003 10:32 | Price ticks up on another 100k buy. Also market size increased to 2000 so only a hour delay in reporting "O" trades >6*NMS, as opposed to the 2 hour delay previously. Regards | tony14
24/6/2003 14:11 | some large buying at the mo.. considering the vol that was there a few months ago... | safman
23/6/2003 20:08 | By the way.. as an investment stock.. look at IEN... buy at 7.5p... | safman
23/6/2003 20:07 | CR - Thinking of changing the thread title, 20th June is a bit old now... | safman
23/6/2003 20:04 | Some of the 250K trades late in the day must be buys - something must have moved the offer up in the afternoon, unless it is a large buy that has yet to be fully filled. CR | cockneyrebel |
