Soon after my last post I sold out but the mark down after that could lead to a buying opportunity for anyone with spare cash. I'll keep this on my watch list.

Yes, I have them in my ISA too so there may be some selling pressure when the transfer to AIM happens.

I would think they have already considered this and hopefully they could organise cross trades accordingly, which may have very little if no effect on share price

I have the same problem except with my ISA, and it seems I wont be able to reinject funds to cover the move to another account, so a potential loss on my part.

Such is life.

Move to Aim may be short term negative if as some funds are not allowed to hold Aim shares in their portfolios so may be forced to sell.(not sure if any such funds hold these shares or not,but something to consider)

Fugu - Yes as expected, but slowly improving.
I get the feeling we may see 1/2M pbt this year if they carry on like this, plus any additional unexpected earnings. Also, what are they going to do with that cash?

I think the sells of today, trader from the other day probably, will be taken up easily but wont show for a few days.

It will probably remain quiet on here for another year, but hopefully others will see the value in the long term, and maybe some suprises will lift the share price

I was wondering why they didn't include a statement re dividends in the results, perhaps they may return some cash to share holders when they move over to aim.
Stay lucky

JohnnyAD - results pretty much as expected, still not sure how a company with zero debt and 7.9m cash can have an mc half that...

Well not bad but not too wonderful.

Profit of £139000 and increase in cash to £7.9M, turning it around just a bit like the preverbial tanker. Non the less could have been worse and if they continue to be cash generative, which should be the case now they have let some office space to boot, things could get better at an accelerating pace.

So that's a MC effectively of £3.46M and pbt of £139000, I've seen a lot worse on here. No debt and no indication of divis, and the movement to aim should reduce expenses further. By this time next year things could be quite rosy, maybe.

AIMHO, DYOR

Finals are due June 18th - BSG have a pretty comprehensive investor relations page on their website at www.bsg.co.uk.

Why is this stock so unloved? Got caught in the dotcom bust, though it was never really a dotcom company. IPO'd on the potential of some AP services that never quite made it and upset the MMs....last I heard Nick Gerard still held 51% and if this still stands (DYOR!) there will always be liquidity problems and no chance of a bid. BUT! I have huge respect for NG and his team and expect some good, if not dramatic results next month. Will increase my modest stake if personal liquidity allows.

Some time around 20th June appears the most likely date for the finals.

Good signs of another upward leg starting.

Well, the uptrend seems to be on the move a again. Year end was march 31st. Does anyone know when results will be announced?

Well they waited as long as they could to allow weak holders to exit, but todays purchases should see the share price rising again to new heights. IMHO

Looks like I've got it about right, famous last words!

But why haven't they got the bottle to show them during normal hours?
The amounts they feed in aren't that dramatic, what are they afraid of?

We'll see no doubt soon.

Well in my opinion they have an order to fill. I recall a few months back a purchase of 1Million at 11p. No doubt they want some more at around 12-12.5p

Because there's not much action in the share, the mm's will be happy to accomodate them, and then move it back up.

Good time to buy IMHO

Johnny, It looks like a flag to me so you could be right. I'm comfortable to hold. I have no spare cash now as the smallcap market as a whole seems very bullish and I've invested accordingly.

Any chartists out there agree 13.5 is level to top up on this.

There's been a retracement on these, but on very small selling volume, and with mm's happy to deal inside the spread a lot of volume IMHO has been buying.

I recon, as usual they have been making a market, getting weak holders out early, to satisfy larger purchasers.

I hope we can now reume our upward trend. DYOR

This stock is so unloved that I am still the only person to have given it a sentiment rating.
I think more on the pilot project could be the most interesting news for we holders.

As long as she keeps ticking up I don't care if we never speak again, if you see what I mean.

They've just got to confirm they've turned it around now. Will have to wait for next results statement, or more on the pilot project.

Thanks for the explanation JohnnyAD. I can't understand why there isn't more interest in this stock with such a strong cash position and, as you say, the likelyhood of profits on the way.
simonbroughton

As I now understand it, having spoken to the company, it is effectively just a paper exercise to leave the profit and loss account in profit rather than a loss due to previous rightdowns, however, as they have already stated the reason for cancellation of share premium account is because they are confident of making profits in the future and can therefore pay dividends.
My feeling having spoken to them is that such profits wont be far off, but that is just my feelings. DYOR

Good luck.
