27th January 3rd quarter results. I think another record coming.Went on the train the other day, 95% of travellers reading or talking on their mobile devices, of course not all BT but 79% must be going by the last set of figures.Don't be short and caught.27th January will set us up for the rest of the year.

x-div today so bound to fall the divi price, but tomorrow will start the recovery.

The pressure is not on BT but the other telecom operators like Sky,talk-talk, Vodafone.
They are trying to take market share but things will strengthen as EE is being rolled out and more subscribers are joining in.

So the share price today will be a distant memory and you will be kicking yourself in 6 months time when the price is close to 500p, why you never bought!

No matter some idiots how stupidly drug this down, this is a growth stock and as such will grow along with the income i.e dividend.
Next year will be looking at a 15% growing dividend to this year's dividend
i.e. close to 14p or maybe 15p.

I see that cretin Montyhedge is on here putting an over the top view on whether to go long or short depending on what he is currently doing. Do what I do and filter him.

I'm afraid it won't. I think a monthly reminder of what Monty is all about is reasonable information for those who don't already know. Hope you have a happier new year than your obviously poor Christmas.

Is the cat out of the bag now? You mean Monty talks nonsense purely to reflect the his phantom holding and shorts? Well I never!2017 predictions for Monty's predictions. Divi will definitely rise by 14% 20 times and defo cut to nothing 20 times. Pension will be no problem whatsoever 24 times and bring BT to its knees 24 times. Ofcom will ensure BT makes growing profits 22 times and ofcom will ensure BT goes bust 22 times. etc. etc.

4.85p in the bag, we were the dog of the FTSE 100, 2016, down 25% on record profits and record dividends.Hopefully boys 2017 our year. The dividend should grow by 14% again giving us a 4.5% yield there about.
