3rd quarter figures due next week, traders not so much investors buying in anticipation of good figures, then take a profit if decent results.

Montyhedge - only a week or so ago you were very bullish about BT SP, especially about breaking through £4.00. So what's changed? It was clear that the FTSE 100 winning run would come to an end, May and Brexit nothing new there and last but not least we all know Trump would be in power today.

Hard to call with Trump in today, all down to market conditions.Even if BT report good, if it's a risk off market everything falls, except gold. Blink of a eye FTSE 100 could easily fall 150 in a day.
