28/12/2016 11:36 | You won't go far wrong BT loss 25% of shareprice this year on record revenue, record profits and record dividend. Now pension deficit will be better off as US interest rates go up so do bond yields.Ofcom no split for Openreach, so BT my share of the year 2017. Ex div Thursday 4.85p, I'm pretty confident won't fall that much. | montyhedge
28/12/2016 11:13 | Chosen BT as one of my SIPP stocks for 2017 - good dividend and excellent prospect of +20% by end of year. | the dark horse
28/12/2016 08:33 | I don't think they will, I think drop 2.5p so up on the day.A lot of year end window dressing by the fund managers before end of the year, to make fund performance and bonuses look good.Easy to move shareprice with the very thin volume by the big boys. | montyhedge
28/12/2016 08:27 | What happens Thursday - BT drops 10p ???? | dmf
28/12/2016 08:02 | Quiet week, ex dividend Thursday. | montyhedge
25/12/2016 09:38 | nice little article on BT Website describing their exploits when as the GPO as they were then, about their involvement with the Ali fights, Apollo 8 and 11 missions etc. Good to see they can do the business when needed unlike those imposters and protagonists Sky,Talk Talk Talk etc who are basically bucket seat operators. hxxp://home.bt.com/t | spendalot
23/12/2016 11:21 | All the best Monty | adelwire2

23/12/2016 06:50 | A couple of months ago BT boosted the broadband speeds of 46,000 UK businesses to 76Mbps on its Business Infinity connection Read more at | christh
22/12/2016 15:52 | I'll stick with the £5.60 from Haitong and the £5.25 from Barclays. That is until we are nearly at those prices and they will be revised upwards. | excell1
22/12/2016 12:58 | See Deutsche Bank are still trying to put the knife in on BT with 2 quick brokers notes, sell £3.25 - of course nothing to do with the fact that they are brokers for Deutsche Telecom!!!! | neptune_tad
22/12/2016 11:18 | Down 25% in a year, on record profits, record revenue and record dividend.Worries over pension fund and Ofcom.Higher US rates take care of the pension with higher bond rates and Ofcom no split. So in theory should have a great 2017. | montyhedge
22/12/2016 09:47 | A fund manager on CNBC was asked a couple of days ago, what do you like for 2017 he said BT. If that's the way the other big boys thinking when they are back from skiing holidays then 405p I see.Like I said 4.85p in the bag next week 29th Dec ex div. | montyhedge
22/12/2016 09:15 | Hope so Monty but who knows! if the share price gets above 375 and holds then could be on the up trajectory !!gla holders | wisteria2
22/12/2016 08:49 | I still see over 400p in my view for January, when all the fund managers back from skiing holidays. | montyhedge
22/12/2016 08:45 | Income hunters probable come in, 4.3% for next year. Come on Woodford you know you want to come back in. | montyhedge
22/12/2016 08:07 | Voulume very low, fund managers gone off on holiday, skiing private schools broken up. So BT just in drift mode, up 1% down 1%, going nowhere. | montyhedge
22/12/2016 05:52 | Finally the truth will out! All this nonsense from MP's and the rest of them (Sky & Talk) waffling on about BT getting government money to roll out Fibre and members of the public also winging. It has now finally been stated that once BT reaches it's target % wise of take up they return funds back, which has always been the case. Let's here from the detractors. htxp://www.bbc.co.uk The government has said £440m has been found so about 600,000 more premises can gain access to superfast broadband. The cash comes from "efficiency savings" and money returned by BT as part of the government's flagship broadband rollout scheme. | spendalot
21/12/2016 11:10 | Not at £4.75 yet.I will go back to sleep then. | excell1
21/12/2016 06:40 | GazjcI think that related to some kind of fraud. | montyhedge
20/12/2016 18:47 | In the Masterinvestor article it made reference to BT Italia and £145m! Was there ever any news on what that actually related too? | gazjc
20/12/2016 16:59 | Well you got to be quick trading, I said 375p by Tuesday, then touched 376p yesterday, so not a bad prediction when they were 359p. | montyhedge
20/12/2016 16:53 | 4 quid next year then! gla. | wisteria2
20/12/2016 14:42 | Well, I added a few bullish options for next march and June (approx 367p) | younasm |
