One consolation looking at the volumes on BT and VOD on a sell off day is low...

Before the election Monty AKA 'The No.1 Trader' said that if the Tories won, BT shares would benefit - which didn't take a Genius to work out, since Corbyn had threatened re-nationalization.

Anyway, The Conservative duly achieved a landside, and for the most fleeting of moments, BT's share price benefited - a bit, rising to £2.10.

Then, along came a reality check - and Corvid19. Since those heady days (hours) of £2.10, BT has lost a third of its value - IN TWO MONTHS!! - despite the fact that Monty said BT would not be affected by Corona Virus (he has since contradicted himself by saying CV affects everything). Meanwhile, he has stuck loyal to BT "I'd keep paying my bills if they were doubled" (how many times has he trotted that line out?)

So, one wonders: How come "The No.1 Trader" didn't go short at £2.10? - or £2 - or £1.80, £1.60 etc? Surly any trader of such an elevated status, would have done so?

BT should have done TV on demand. Prevent by ofcom. Given to netflix & amazon.

BT should have done Could computing. Probably cultural inertial that any innovation is battered back. Amazon now a $1.6T company.
