Rates are being slashed, income bonds down from 1.16% to 0.7% gross from May 1. Right now +.7% looks good, much better than -20%. FTSE100 has crashed over 40% twice in the last 20 years. Indexed fell to about 3500 in march 2003, then back down to 3550 in march 2009. 7000 - 3500 - 7000 - 3500 - 7900 - ?????
