DMF,

Half the DSLAMs in the UK are also Huawie - shall we rip them out while were at it?
Why is there no 'hoo-har' regarding Chinese-state DSLAMs?

May be because of pressure from US to remove all Huawei equipment from UK 5G infrastructure !

Does anyone know why BT has fallen so much over the last 24 hours? - and before anyone tells me it's all due to the Coronavirus, you're wrong - it can't be the CV because Monty say's so (and he's the No.1 Trader)...

Hopefully fund managers seen sense and rotating out of oil and gas shares into Telcos and tech.
BT not effected by Coronvirus, domestic sterling stocks the place to be.

bt don't need a cc offering, ANY business can activate remote access with appropriate software.

Remind me how many matches have been cancelled here?

this isn't good for BT.

Most internet use is fixed price. More work from home will not immediately increase revenue. Maybe a little from upgraded capability, but even 10mbps is usable.

lock downs result in cancelled sports events. Pay per view will be affected downwards in first instance. Longer term governments may allow exceptions such as allowing football games in empty stadiums which may drive a small bump in remote viewing.

BT dont have a credible cloud computing offering so no boost from remote working there.

Amazon and Microsoft well placed there.
