a lot in BT take early retirement at 55. Don't count on it.

sorry monty, but cut to the divi was likely before the stock market sell off.

BT has virtually no upside from people working from home. Those that can already have broadband.

They may have to refund for sports subscriptions. Rugby 6 nations called off et al. Why should people pay to watch games that don't happen.

But the big nail in the coffin is the pensions. It was a problem before. A 20% stock market crash (7,700 FTSE to 6,000) will increase the deficit.

Even if dividend cut by 30%, just like Vodafone still a massive yield, I still reckon no cut.

This is going to bounce as punters seek real value in a service that isn't going away anytime soon imho. I will be loading up in a few days when the dust has settled

Looking grim - but I haven't got the nerve to sell at this price in the hope of another 20% off - even though that could easily happen.

From what I understand, there is a correlation with 'gilt yields' which are currently at an all time low and BT share price....not sure if its connected with where the pension funds are deposited by BT ?

Need to let it all settle down and I'd wait for the first quarter results to get most of the bad news out.
