Telecom Italia's shares are no higher now than before the recent hedge fund moves.

Bloomberg just published another on the subject, worth a google. Bloomberg said it's a scoop for them. Let's hope so would make sense.

Yep, the good news will come out, sector rotation and over sold status will catapult it up over next 18 months IMHO.

Gavin better watch out if US Hedge Fund Elliott Management Corp buy into BT. They just bought a stake in Telecom Italia and are pushing for changes. If they did blue touch paper lite and then take off for BT.

All you need is a US hedge fund like Elliott Management Corp to buy a stake to lite the blue touch paper. They have bought a stake in Telecom Italia and pushing for changes.BT must be a prime target at this ridiculously low price for some hedgie.

Mobile mask business inherited from EE could be sold for around 1.5 billion pounds. Deutsche Telekom 14% stake will they bid or merge when the embargo ends, that will push the shareprice up on speculation later this year. All in all looking a good year coming. Oh and dividend 10.55p on its way. Lol

Looks like the Openreach story has grabbed the City's attention a little more than the sale of the 'masks', sorry I mean 'masts'!!
