Am going to just relax and watch the steady share price climb over the next 18 months.

They inherited the mobile mask business when they bought EE.Lots of potential buyers if they get 1.5 billion that would be brilliant.

Ticking up again, micro volatility until it breaks past 210p imo, RSI curving up from oversold, so should JUMP at some point when shorts close

Continued weakness in a bullish market. Be prepared for a lot lower prices when the Market corrects. AIMHO

which "shorters" are you referring to? Hedge funds would be out of their minds to short BT at these levels. BT is now a prime buyout target and, it wouldn't take long before rumors are spread. People seem to forget that the company is generating 7bln in profit! Only the value of EE would be more than the current BT market cap. In this game of a random walk, there are no accurate predictions (about bottoms and tops), but at the end of the day, cash is king and BT is making a ton of it, despite the current state of its pension pot, which has been trashed thanks to NIRP.

Personally, I am not expecting a bounce straight away.
I am happy with it to find and then sit at a level price range for a while.
That would provide a good base to rise from and bring new longs onboard, any shorters would more likely IMO close their positions as it levels out. Time will tell.

The fact there was no bounce at Fridays close told me shorters were not afraid to be short over the weekend. The FTSE is up 45 points and this is down on the day.
This stock is a utility now. No growth, massive debt and high yield. Think Centrica.

Got to be brave to short at 203p, 7.58% yield. Assets will be sold. The Mobile mask business 1.5 billion good start. 245p here we come when a run starts. The most hated FTSE 100 stock could become popular again.

I have been short BT a number of times, but the downtrend looks stretched now. I suspect there will be a flurry of buying, but will it attract renewed selling?Long term buy and hold has simply not worked for BT shareholders, but at some point it will and I suspect that point is near.

I'm expecting nice bounce tomorrow, Mobile Mask division inherited from EE purchase could be sold raising £1.5 billion according to Daily Telegraph. What will Deutsche Telekom do with their 14% stake, bid or merge. Very strong company.
