Looking good boys, sentiment is changing for BT, the new chairman is known for getting things done. Lol especially when he bought half a million pounds worth of shares at 255p.

Chill toon it’s my opinion not set in stone. I wouldn’t dare claim to know where this is going. See the above link To ‘Morningstar' for a more positive view.
I don’t remember many warning about this huge drop when share price was a fiver or how ridiculously overpriced BT was and I’m sure DT would have done a due diligence investigation when they bought in.
Even if you add debt to deficit it’s 'only' £20bn. A lot but not as a percentage of earning and assets imho especially as OR value alone cancels it out.
But who knows?..lol

Apart from all those recent emails regarding data protection, has anyone else noticed that near all websites now seem to want you to agree to let them use cookies to track what you are doing? And a lot of them deny you access to their site unless you say yep. It's right royally annoying and it deters me from visiting a lot of sites recently :) - ooops ranting again - apologies!
Knowing, that morningstar link shows it well when you click on options in the grey cookies bar at the top. Not as easy to uncheck them as they say.

The shareprice tells you the true value of the company - not some trashy, 2-bit paper talk. The rest of the market will drag BT down - look at the price today if you need any proof of that. Deluded.

I will refrain from commenting about the EU.
It is futile, no one ever changes their mind and Brexiteers are an angry lot.
We not out out yet so still have the benefits/disadvantags of membership.
It will take years to know the outcome and the new arrangements.

pacemaker1000 said on 29 May '18 - 12:42 - "I think last weeks rumours have hit Home as to the real value of BT" - really? So why hasn't the share price taken off today? If it were so undervalued, given your arguments, the share price would 30,40,50% higher, if not more? Please explain why it is not?

I think last weeks rumours have hit Home as to the real value of BT, with OR itself being priced at up to £24bn
It has lessened my concern that BT will get dragged down with a falling FTSE. Value is already underpriced and a further drop would attract a lot of interest in the divi and a serious buyout target

it is also so intertwined toon.
I have a large BT. holding.
It was an accountancy scandal in Italy that cost me so much a while back.
Now Italy is in the headlines again today.
The EU problems could yet crash out markets taking BT down further.
