06/2/2024 15:26 | I dont think its anything to do with shorting or pension deficit or blah blah... I think a big instruction or individual investor is selling in a big way (they need the cash) and its hard to find buyers in this market... When the "market" thinks the fall has stopped then of course peps will pile it... At least that is my view.. | netcurtains

06/2/2024 15:00 | Was looking at it's yield class for funds. The yield seems classed as High yield However, the funds are exiting these High yield baskets hard DIV, XSHD etc Of course to exit, you need to dump the share out somewhere Interesting to note, BT seems to be the one most dumped in etf baskets, within the class Now, I'm not one for history but I do remember a note about how those funds don't come back for periods of years If so, who is going to rally BT? They need to kill div and put that towards infrastructure . Problem there is, that doesn't bring back income funds ...and because of debt etc, capital growth players ain't interested either | institutional investments

06/2/2024 14:43 | Isis, I've posted the multiples AT&T and Verizon sell on, or Orange SA, if you want a closer to home example. This is a very poorly rated sector currently, the BT valuation, when you account for the huge pension obligations, does not look an aberration. | essentialinvestor |
