BATS is being sold down by a number of investment houses who have decided to be (more?) 'ethical' by selling out of tobacco related investments. As this likely involves a large number of shares, the overhang may last for a while. This is to me an opportunity to increase holdings, whenever the price ducks down below 5200p. When the funds involved have finally stopped selling, the price will go back to where it should be: far higher. And the useful dividend, well covered, is a helpful support to the price, and likely to be so for a long time to come ...

Tobacco shares were flagging after the World Health Organisation called for companies to compensate for products which contribute to greenhouse gases. British American Tobacco drifted 88p, or 1.6%, lower to 5503p and Imperial Brands fell 48.5p, or 1.3%, to 3632p.
