07/9/2024 18:14 | Continued buybacks, quarterly dividends, progressive yearly, the ITC hotel business sale pending, growth in the non combustible / vape sector, scope for MnA, we will have to wait and see.. BUT, the share price was 3500 in 2022, and 5500 in 2017.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
07/9/2024 15:12 | Motley Fool have released an article suggesting BATS could hi £66 per share by 2026 with growth of 47% on revenue, sorry don't have the link, wife was showing me on her fone. If it hits half that I'll be a very happy bunny. | korvet
07/9/2024 07:28 | Have a feeling Monday morning will give a buying opportunity at sub 2900 but then just like we have seen recently it will push on. Hard to create a case against a run to 3000 before the divi is locked in now as the big tech sell off continues, the US jobs market looks softer than it has for a long time and the talk of a 50 bps cut by the FED on the 18th gathers pace. Good luck all 👍🏻 | tuftymatt
07/9/2024 07:06 | These are just my thoughts, Tobacco stocks do well in a recession, talk of recession coming US. So shares with high quality dividend stream especially quarterly in favour. Buybacks are a bonus, talking my own book of course and bias my target for 2025/6 is 4200p. | montyhedge
06/9/2024 18:12 | I think straight through that level, in my opinion. Ex div 26th September 58.88p. | montyhedge
06/9/2024 17:33 | Not a bad week at all, ready for an assault on 3000 pence next pre XD.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner

06/9/2024 12:22 | Waiting for ITC hotels portion of BATs to be sold by year end. Should be at least 2 billion to pay down debt and maybe share price div | 1viky
05/9/2024 13:10 | Sold 25% of my holdings here. Will sell another 25% before the US election in November then add again if Trump is elected. | redbaron10
05/9/2024 11:57 | Yep I agree a pat on the back for once I actually got in at the bottom. Up almost 25% and a couple of divis bagged along the way | nellynell

04/9/2024 20:05 | The main thing no upper limit cap, no dividend tax on isa accounts, that was the fear.Bats looking good, we have buybacks I understand until the end of 2025.Surely we will be back to 2022 level of 3500p, that's Jefferies target price. | montyhedge
04/9/2024 19:48 | Further to the list of potential tax raid targets I wrote yesterday.. IHT CGT Pension contributions tax relief LTA ceiling reintroduced with tax trap Freezing income tax threshold allowances and trapping pay rises into a higher tax rate band.. The Telegraph/FT are now reporting that the Tory proposed British ISA extra GBP5K allowance has now been dropped, not at all surprised to read it, a half baked idea at best but I also doubt that the GBP20K allowance ISA now frozen for 8 years will be raised to 25K compensate under Labour.. Another kick in the Jacobs for savers trying to get ahead.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
04/9/2024 16:48 | I think certainty. | montyhedge
04/9/2024 16:44 | 2900 reached....hopefully breached | nemesis6
04/9/2024 15:23 | The way we are going straight through big resistance level 3000p before ex div I reckon. Is it the yanks buying always seem to go better when US opens 2.30pm GLA. | montyhedge
04/9/2024 15:05 | Looking much more likely now LLB!! 2900 was what I hoped to see so to be there 3 weeks earlier lines up 3000 nicely as it's only circa 3% more. Good luck all 👍🏻 | tuftymatt
04/9/2024 14:50 | A print at 2900, slowly slowly the hurdles fall 1 at a time.. :o) What chance 3000 for pre XD on 25th..? | laurence llewelyn binliner
