@Lippy, I wanted to address the name-calling, which I find quite rude. Luckily, I have a thick skin; otherwise, I would have considered reporting this under Section 5 of the Public Order Act.

What?

Reporting someone for calling you a nasty hurty name under Section 5 of Public order act.

I second Lippy except you're a woke limp wristed fannie.

Well spotted fenners. I'd missed the miss spell when naming Pensioeninvestor.
Proof that we often see what we expect rather than what is actually written.

Must admit boys thought the shareprice would be a lot higher, 3500p around May 22, but now we have buybacks until end of 2025.But hey nothing goes up in a straight line.

Thank you for sharing Monty!
I got one free link of article from the economist about Zyn. So please don’t use it if you already have a subscription.

You've been given free access to this article from The Economist as a gift. You can open the link five times within seven days. After that it will expire.

Why do conservatives in America love Zyn?

#Monty, both covers it off nicely, BATS Dec to April looked steal at the time and c2300, turns out, it was and we were gifted 5 months to hoover up, +25% (so far) on a total return basis.. :o)

Where will the share price go next..?

With the buy backs secured for 2024/2025 and out ITC hotels position coming up for a potential disposal this could fund buybacks in 26/27..

3000 PDQ, 3500 does not look out of reach does it for FY2024..?, and not forgetting sooner or later there will be some MnA in the space as next gen products grow and economies of scale potential resonates..

Filtered what Kirkie? Coffee?

I thought Pensionerinvestor's post thought provoking and his follow-up, an attempt to lighten the mood.

I'm assuming Pension.... lives in east Europe, perhaps having moved there from the UK and hence has knowledge of both places. Or, rather, the impression of what the UK is like to someone who perhaps hasn't visited in the past 6 months but gets the images from t.v., press, social media.

On another thread a poster who lives in Berlin disclosed that the average German believes the UK is a place where many people are homeless, there's considerable unemployment and hardship and was asked by German friends if relatives in the UK of this poster living in Berlin needed assistance.

How the UK is perceived abroad has ramifications for all manner of things; economic investment chief amongst such.

I’ve decided to cancel my trip to the UK in October. I don’t feel safe enough.

Let’s see whether it is safe enough next year at the shareholders meeting.

It’s so odd that I feel totally safe in Eastern Europe where I also visit these old soviet neighbourhoods and have a drink at the local pub there.. but in the UK it is too dangerous. Sad times indeed.

Chart looks encouraging to me: companies buyback strategy is working well and the recent interest rate cut is supportive. Looks like onwards and upwards for the time being.
