23/3/2022 13:41 | It isn’t, just a case of how much folk are prepared to stomach with rising cost of living, leisure is always vulnerable especially driving to venues. | bookbroker
23/3/2022 13:16 | It’s clear they want to engage more with shareholders, looking forward to next monday. I think we are at the start of a nice run if they keep executing and expanding. Given the expected cashflow Pier isn’t expensive. | kirmich
01/3/2022 13:30 | For those that missed PIERs last weeks investor presentation a recording is now available on Investor Meet Company website.www.investor | 1tx
27/2/2022 18:10 | Monday 28th March. Half Year Earnings. | dancing piranha
27/2/2022 16:48 | Ok my mistake. I thought the CFO said in the investor presentation something about numbers on the 28th, but probably I misunderstood. | ijamlon
27/2/2022 07:50 | We had an update a month ago, not likely to another until results. | bookbroker
25/2/2022 11:59 | I think we have an update on Monday, which is likely to be bullish. Last chance to take advantage of this global risk aversion (which has zero read across to PIER). | ijamlon
16/2/2022 09:47 | bookbroker....If they were to charge for entry then I think I would prefer to see an adults only charge and allow children under 16 to gain admission for free. Lets face it most children will have two adults paying alongside them and I would be hacked off paying a price for my kids to go on a pier as most of the entertainment and goodies are aimed at them and cover the costs. I guess it depends on whether the attractions and stalls are fully owned or rented from PIER and so prices charged are not easily at PIERs discretion. | davidosh
11/2/2022 08:20 | I noticed they do not charge visitors to Brighton Pier, if they even placed a £1 charge on entry it might generate millions of added revenue, and they could easily do this via a turnstile/door system similar to an underground. I know that that might have some impact on visitors who might spend money elsewhere on the Pier, but a pound is basically very little to enjoy the walk and the views down the Pier. It would go a long way to alleviating the rising cost of extra energy costs and maintaining the services and entertainment on the Pier. | bookbroker
25/1/2022 14:26 | This looks like £1+ - Last results were v good hence market responding - | tomboyb
24/1/2022 10:44 | Premium is being paid - 5k at 90p - | tomboyb
20/1/2022 10:42 | Quite a few sellers taken out - Looks like PIER wants to go up - £1+ is not unreasonable - | tomboyb
17/1/2022 19:40 | Thank you for that Ijamlon - | tomboyb
17/1/2022 16:15 | £1? £2 more like. It's a very strong trading statement, especially through Omicron which would have substantially depressed their full earning potential, particularly revenue from lucrative Christmas office outings, which were largely cancelled this year (outside of Downing Street :-)). Clear that the theme park was a very attractive acquisition financially, the previous owners simply wanted to move on after Covid. Huge cash generation which can both pay off debt and buy up equity | ijamlon
17/1/2022 15:29 | It is - NT at 88p - Think this is £1+ this week - | tomboyb
17/1/2022 15:29 | Slow and steady. Brought some earlier, going swimmingly so far. | lb28
17/1/2022 14:20 | Agreed - It is a solid update - | tomboyb
17/1/2022 14:17 | this will go much higher than 1 if they continue to execute, just hold and enjoy | kirmich |
