04/5/2022 14:13 | Seems odd, using Hargreaves (who have a reputation as rip-off merchants) you can buy 15000 shares right now at 93.95. | ijamlon
04/5/2022 14:06 | i managed to get 1000 shares yesterday at 94p, then upped my bid to 95p (yesterday afternoon and then this morning), which didn't get filled and then i upped my bid to 96p which got filled for also 15k shares, but the buy hasn't (maybe yet) appeared on the lse website. have some more orders in at lower prices, if they would shake the tree some more, but very difficult to get any shares. I live in Belgium, using Saxo, so maybe it goes easier with a british broker, but i have quite a nice position in Pier for a long time started in the fifties, all the way down to the 30p region and then my last buy was at 82 p on the dip before the earnings release. So have done quite a lot of buys in Pier and it's the first time i have to up my bid above the official listed price. Anyone has the same experience? | kirmich
03/5/2022 14:21 | Just snapped up 15k @92.97p! | dancing piranha
02/5/2022 19:33 | Conditions for heavy use of pier and theme park couldn't have been better with the Easter and Bank holiday weather. PIER's ability to raise prices and the stickiness of the staycation theme should underpin the rest of the year. There's still this question of whether the cost of living crisis will hit UK leisure in general. So far it hasn't but obviously that's could cap near-term growth | ijamlon
28/4/2022 18:56 | Why the recent fall? | davidro77
12/4/2022 16:10 | Looks like another boom year for staycations beckons… | ijamlon
31/3/2022 17:50 | Big day, finally breaking through £1, and decisively so. Testament to how well managed this company has been through the last two years, despite all the pandemic challenges. | ijamlon
28/3/2022 15:40 | Exactly my reason for buying in this morning!! | molatovkid
28/3/2022 08:34 | Very low PE here if you extrapolate for full year with the best trading months to go. | paleje
28/3/2022 07:15 | Very good results, flagged but nice nonetheless! | bookbroker
28/3/2022 07:10 | RNS confirms very strong earnings last year, and that they’ve traded ahead of expectations in Q1 this year. This is the cheapest growth stock in the whole U.K. market. | ijamlon
27/3/2022 14:38 | Looking forward to tomorrow's update. The pier has been very busy this weekend. | ijamlon
23/3/2022 13:41 | It isn’t, just a case of how much folk are prepared to stomach with rising cost of living, leisure is always vulnerable especially driving to venues. | bookbroker
23/3/2022 13:16 | It’s clear they want to engage more with shareholders, looking forward to next monday. I think we are at the start of a nice run if they keep executing and expanding. Given the expected cashflow Pier isn’t expensive. | kirmich
01/3/2022 13:30 | For those that missed PIERs last weeks investor presentation a recording is now available on Investor Meet Company website.www.investor | 1tx
27/2/2022 18:10 | Monday 28th March. Half Year Earnings. | dancing piranha
27/2/2022 16:48 | Ok my mistake. I thought the CFO said in the investor presentation something about numbers on the 28th, but probably I misunderstood. | ijamlon
27/2/2022 07:50 | We had an update a month ago, not likely to another until results. | bookbroker
25/2/2022 11:59 | I think we have an update on Monday, which is likely to be bullish. Last chance to take advantage of this global risk aversion (which has zero read across to PIER). | ijamlon |
