Not a new investor. He had well over 10% position in Eclectic back in 2014.

check the interim results of the 17th of march 2020, last half year before corona. They had a cash flow from operating activities of 3,8 million and they paid back 3 million of borrowings during that half year for a net debt of 11 million. Then came corona and their net debt is only up to 12,5 million, far better than i imagined, not counting on the insurance payment they received after the period end.

If the weather will be ok, and in the UK and in Europe the covid situation progresses like it is doing now, i don't think a lot of people in the UK will be tempted to go abroad or will be advised not to go to europe on holiday(in France a new lockdown just started for a month). I live in Belgium, only 12% got vaccinated and the rest of europe is quite similar, and the prospects look not all that well for a more rapid take up of the vaccination campaign.

For places like Brighton, the above situation would be a blockbuster and i think we will be amazed what kind of cashflow they would be able to pull off IF the weather will be ok. So in the current situation, why would they raise money at these prices?

Not sure why they haven't done a placing yet. Balance sheet is too stretched to really support a rip roaring trade over the next few months in terms of working capital.Thought the change of broker a few weeks ago was a signal they would be raising funds, but the expected time, with the results, doesn't seem to have come.

Results rather better than expected. The insurance payout of nearly £3m,including £1.5m paid this month a real bonus.Whilst Pier should do well this summer,it remains to be seen how footfall at shopping centres holds up for Golf venues when they re-open.The bars(now fewer) still a difficult area.I have a modest holding.

The EU vaccination failings is only increasing the % of UK staycations that will be booked this summer ...Less than a month till this asset is back in operation.

Holding 200k shs here

One block was on the 16 Feb after hours 32.5p.

Been munching quite a lot.

Looking for 65p to sell. Brighton been very busy last weekend and tens of thousands of people visiting from out town.
Read their local newspaper argus and see the pictures of the amount of people last Sunday

In fact I was there too on Sunday, it was heaving on the beachfront.

Bournemouth and Brighton will be milking it.

hxxps://www.theargus.co.uk/news/19128224.bins-left-overflowing-thousands-descend-brighton-seafront/

BINS were left overflowing with rubbish strewn around them after thousands of people descended on Brighton beach over the weekend.

There are currently almost 400 bins along the seafront. So, the council said, there is "no excuse" for discarding rubbish on or near a bin.

Interesting to read some of the more outspoken views in results of late:

"It is profoundly disappointing to me that the government continues with its failing strategy of lockdowns. The collateral damage from these restrictions and the fear being promoted by the authorities are having a catastrophic impact on our way of life. The loss of jobs, toll on mental health, harm to education, the national finances and treatment of other illnesses will cause vastly more hardship than the virus itself.

I believe that the government and their scientific advisors at SAGE need to change course and focus on protection of the vulnerable, while allowing the majority of the population - who are at low risk from the virus - to resume their normal lives and work, so the country can fund the NHS. Otherwise we are doomed to a never ending cycle of destructive and pointless lockdowns, mass unemployment, suicides, bankruptcies, evictions and economic, cultural and social ruin."

Clearly you get ferocious views on both sides!
