13/6/2018 07:04 | Biggy.......... We'll be long gone before then my friend | iamthedogman
13/6/2018 06:29 | Are we not forgetting BLVNS share of production costs? | bigsi2
12/6/2018 17:01 | The graph looks encouraging and decided to bring the average cost down in anticipation. | superbarnet
12/6/2018 16:09 | About time the share price started motoring. We are drilling with potentially great upside to our volume numbers. In the O & G sector this is a relatively straight forward investment with a pay day not so far away. Safer than most its just about how big the premium will be, imo. | cyan
12/6/2018 14:03 | fft, Higher, I basically took what BLVNS share of the condenate over 20 years and assigned a $4 a barrell value to it, given we farmed out at a little over $2 a barrell. This is of course assuming that the appraisal drilling delivers the condensate needed. Do you think $4 a barrell to high? I don't see COC getting involved to sell the remaining 20% and any further upgrade post appraisal for $2 a barrell, too poor a return on their initial outlay and opportunity cost. | benjimun
12/6/2018 12:28 | Benjimun,When you say 50-60p is ridiculous, do you mean the sale price should be higher or lower ?Since the gas etc will take 20 years to extract, shouldn't there be a discount in the share price for the NPV of future earnings ?Or am I missing something ? | fft
12/6/2018 10:54 | We have to assume that this is their best guess based on what NA feel comfortable planning for over 20 years with their current knowledge expected appraisal results. The expcted condensate production figures over 20 years assign BLVN 43,680,000 barrells, if we sell that at $4 a barrell that is 40p per share+ 25p per share cash not even adding the remainnng gas. The idea that BLVN will be sold for 50-60p is ludicrous IMHO. | benjimun

12/6/2018 06:20 | The figures in this are huge.... Energy. New Age in charge of Etinde gas exploitation Posted on11 June 2018 Since last June 8, this British company and the State of Cameroon are bound by the terms of a contract to equip Cameroon with a second floating gas treatment plant off Limbe. Olivier Bokale New African Global Energy (New AGE). This is the name of the company chosen by Cameroon to install and operate the Etinde gas block, located off Kribi in the South West region. The project provides for a 20-year operating life and the construction of a floating plant for the treatment and liquefaction of natural gas. The operating agreement has been signed since June 8th between the British company New Age (New African Global Energy) and the State of Cameroon. From this exploitation of the Etinde gas block, Cameroon plans to generate 150,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) per year, 1.3 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) a year, 70 million cubic feet of natural gas per day that will be transported by the pipeline to the shore for the supply of local projects selected by Cameroon, 1 million tons of LPG for export and 30,000 barrels per day of oil condensate . According to Cameroonian officials, the realization of this project guarantees a minimum of direct taxes of US $ 2.4 billion during the two decades of operation, US $ 3 million of local development contribution, about 7,000 direct and indirect jobs. in the downstream sector. In addition to these spin-offs, nearly $ 7 billion of revenue generated in the upstream sector is added. In the same vein, this project will allow the State of Cameroon to develop its energy potential through the availability of natural gas, a source of clean energy and less expensive for the industrialization of the country. For the Minister of Water and Energy (Minee), Gaston Eloundou Essomba, the start-up of the Etinde gas block will allow Cameroon to limit or even cancel its dependence on the import of domestic gas.As part of the development of the country's gas resources, the New Age company was authorized to exploit the Etinde gas field by presidential decree no. 2015/001 of 6 January 2015 establishing an exclusive exploitation license for gaseous hydrocarbons. "Since the studies were conclusive for the exploitation of this gas field by the construction of a floating natural gas liquefaction plant (Flng) off our coasts in Limbe, the New Age company has requested the signature of an agreement gas with the State ... The signing of this agreement marks the culmination of a long process that actually takes shape today and which also opens a page in addition to the history of natural gas in Cameroon, "says Gaston Eloundou Essomba, Minee. | 1msn

07/6/2018 12:17 | a good post on COPL.. Edgein7 Jun '18 - 09:29 - 2920 of 2921 0 0 0 Bounty Hunter, Its all about timing. OIL was one of my best ever, it went from the teens in the Brenda days to over £4.00 in the post-Huntington era (I sold long before that). Art was exceptional at finding the stuff, especially appraisal drilling and OIL were killed off by the debt and the unprecedented fall in the oil price, that killed off AFR and many others too CAZA et al. With COPL its all about timing again. The market has a short memory and if ART delivers even a fraction of that plan in the presentation then this is going to be one of the highest baggers in the oil sector in a long time. If the deal goes through and they line up funding they're expected to produce from the modified rig, so no 3-4 year wait as normally associated with offshore. Plan is 6000bopd in the early stages and within about 3-5 years and 29 wells later produce 60,000bopd at peak. The market rightly or wrongly expects that this will not happen hence £8m market cap. If on the other hand they get approval from the Nigerians for the Essar deal, finance the well and get the expected results this is Oilexco mark II. The early days of OIL were exceptional and that's why I took some here. One of the smallest holdings in my porty so its not without risk as you point out, but upside if Art pulls it off is going to be legendary. First target 90mmbbls, combined appraisal targets approx 250mmbbls. Regards, Ed. | nicky21

05/6/2018 17:17 | Guys you really need to check out COPL currently to buy 0.55p. A potential to be a multi baggar. It tried its luck in Liberia but failed to find any Oil.It is now concentrating in Nigeria. There it has partnered with Shoreline a Nigerian company. Copl and Shoreline have ventured together and created a company called Shorecan which is owned 50/50 by both. They have bidded for a Licence and are awaiting Approval and Transfer of Asset. The asset is OPL 226.Five wells have been drilled on OPL 226 by previous operators.A well drilled in 2001 encountered Oil. When all approvals are sorted then it will drill an appraisal well on the discovery in 2001.Financing for the drilling is meant to be secured for rumours are true. What is holding the share price back presently is NNPC approval. $60m was spent on this asset by the previous operator.the potential for Copl is huge. I know most of you gonna say its another Nigerian scam.IMO i think it is not.Presently we have 2 Nigerian companies listed on the LSE they are Egland Oil and Gas (market cap £250m) and Seplat Petroleum (market cap £850m) Copl management wants it to be a mid tier oil and gas company ie £250m-£5 All to play for.Current market cap for Copl is just under £10m.I think its one of the best plays on the LSE. | nicky21

29/5/2018 18:44 | Hiya Loglorry Been a very long time since I bothered checking in here - how's tricks? Anything worth telling me about or shall I go away and return in a year or two? | cyman
29/5/2018 10:32 | Honestly, I would just chill and let the rig deliver upside. Have you all seen the seismology? Super accurate now and fully correlated to IM-5 well results. The formation is heaving with fossil fuels. The challenge is that it is a HPHT well hence elongated operational time. Not particularly after anymore shares personally unless other holdings allow profit taking but a safe (imo) entry level I would say for new investors. | gunsofmarscapone |
