How strange!! Surely the point of a GM is to vote and announce the results?? Didn't they even read out the votes cast in the proxies?

jonwall wasn't the case this time but I agree they normally are. They said they'd be released via RNS. Read into that what you will.

Log... apologies if i've missed something (not been following this saga closely) but were the results of the vote not announced at the meeting? At every AGM/EGM i've been to the Chair reads the results of the proxy votes before putting the resolutions to the meeting.

A large bird in legal circles informs me that both sides agreed to end the egm to sit down and discuss arrangements and draft rns. I believe that there might be other matters on the table too

The other thought crossed my mind was that one or more board members who were NOT voted off may have indicated they would rather resign than work with COC.

Perhaps KH has a last minute 'cunning plan'.

More likely, imo, its dotting the 'i's' and crossing the 't's' of the RNS with a few generous words thanking certain individuals for their previous services.

Easy to see, I'd say, if there is evidence that has only come to light between the meetings. Hence the formality of the question. So if, say, examination of Square1 Consulting directors and major shareholders leeds to a group of individuals living in Monaco colluding in the background and someone grassed them up.... Only an illustration not an accusation btw.

Given that coc votes were allowed at the previous meeting it is hard to see how they could disbar them this time. But all very odd that no announcement at the meeting.I am sure coc lawyers are in any meeting where votes are being discussed.

My concern was that the question formally put to COC by BLVN about beneficial ownership and ultimate control was designed to allow the company to debar the COC shares from the vote. But then all the other votes were counted....

I sold down most of holding believing the Sunday Times article. Maybe i was a little presumptuous...

I imagine the RNS will need to be legally verified which all takes time...

I think it is safe to say if there is any way the current BoD can hang on even if it is temporary they will. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
