16/7/2015 14:52 | Good afternoon ohisay. Your memory is better than mine. Agree that rig rates lower but the factor of 2 still applies. Rig rates had fallen with the general oil price when PMO said that they would defer the NFB sealion development if oil drops to $50. We are now at $57.63 (thought you'd like to know that RTW lol). The read across the BOR's chances of drilling in the twice as expensive south are not great. Hi RTW, You know me well lol. Full of useless numbers. I respectfully remind you that we are long over due for the farmin which you have been predicting. It could happen, imo, IF oil puts on at least another $30 and Humpback is a hit. GLA. | cyan
16/7/2015 12:04 | Big thanks to the FlyingMule for the info, but also don't forget Spineworks on LSE did the recording in the first place at the AGM which TFM kindly transcribed. | xh558
16/7/2015 02:57 | Cyan - we've had this conversation before !. Rig day rates are now down at least 40% so if they managed to get a slot at the end of the current FOGL campaign they wouldn't be paying the rates FOGL et al are currently paying. Doubtless the NFB is cheaper but the reductions make SFB drilling much less onerous than previous years. | ohisay
15/7/2015 16:22 | Hi Ohisay. Got the numbers from a FOGL report; NFB $50 million, SFB $110million per drill. Maybe a tad less now as oil market rates have fallen since. | cyan
15/7/2015 16:19 | The NFB drills cost half that of SFB drills. Tell me where you get that from Cyan. | ohisay
14/7/2015 19:07 | ohisay, got the doc now, thanks for posting. And thanks Flying Mule, I was starting to think no reports would emerge - great to have the gory detail. | fadilz
14/7/2015 18:01 | To put BOR's prospects in context one has to look to the NFB & RKH. PMO have stated that Sealion will be deferred if oil goes sub $50. Price now around $58. The NFB drills cost half that of SFB drills. Add in the IEA pessimistic report for 2016 oil prices and that BOR will lose their license in Autumn 2017 if they do not drill ; then you see a nasty doomsday scenario here. | cyan
14/7/2015 17:48 | Is this share actually going to do anything but go down? | st0rm
14/7/2015 15:55 | Cool as u like 😝 | ride the wave |
