We all read companies and the market differently....that is precisely what makes us buy or sell a stock. The market is based on sentiment and perception.

I have no vested interest in this Company doing well or otherwise, as I'm not getting involved 3rd time around !!

I have shared my experience of investing in BONH and people can make of it what they will.

Caveat emptor and good luck in spades to those who buy or hold....

I have held decent BONH stakes on 2 separate occasions but no longer. Flatters to deceive in my experience but key Director very well connected in the City it would appear by the roll call of Insti holders with over 3% declared holdings.

Very tightly held and therefore ill liquid....my gut feeling is that BONH will be delisted at some point/ could well be a left field move.

So people need to DYOR and not get stuck in BONH or find themselves in a OCT kind of situation (down 67.5% on announcement of intention to delist announced today).

Caveat emptor and good luck to the brave souls who trade/hold !

Sorry to hear dave4545.

We have all been done over at some point in the market, if we have been in it for a while. Rock Solid Image (RSI) is where I came a cropper with a very substantial holding.

I now pay particular attention to where the Company is domiciled....if they move their tax domicile or Registered Address, I get out. Not worth the risk.

CTP is one such share where I anticipated this was on the cards. The web of holdings/cross holdings and related party transactions were getting increasingly difficult to understand or justify, so when the moved to a Tax Haven (think it was Jersey). I knew it was game over.

BONH and WBI are also on my potential delisting radar....

Commisserations to all holders but the signs were there and I had repeatedly cautioned about BONH if one goes through the early part of this thread....

Agree abarclay - step over options with no ambition or need to hit any meaningful growth targets.

Looks like it is only a matter of time before BONH is cancelled/delisted/bought out with the often trotted excuse that the market is not valuing the business appropriately. I'll give it 12-18 months or fewer.

No advice intended - just my perspective.

Thanks goodness nobody mugged at the open. Payout maybe 3.5p/share by my sums. And still not clear what´s what with the NY lease. Resolving that may make things better or worse.

They´ve been so very poor at giving full disclosure of likely outcomes IMO.

Not very nice at all pmeldrum. Only 40.25% of shares bought for 10p, the rest likely to be worthless?

All silly and rather smelly IMO. I´m lucky to have avoided this.

I reckon closer to 8p

"expected year end net cash position of GBP0.7 million."
"US, Inc., a Key Media company, regarding the conditional disposal of the business and assets of IN for a total cash consideration of $4.1 million (GBP3.3 million)"
"Disposal of the UK and Asia Businesses agreed with MA Financial Media, subject to shareholder approval, for GBP6.5 million in cash"

Total £10.5m
120m shares
10.5/120 = 8.75p

adjustment for taxes(+ or -),fees and lease disposal

"Disposal of the business and assets of IN agreed with KM Business Information US, Inc., subject to shareholders' approval, for $4.1 million (GBP 3.3 million) in cash"

"In the year ended 31 December 2021 (the most recent year for which audited financial information has been published), IN generated audited turnover of approximately GBP7.4 million and made an operating loss of approximately GBP7.0 million. At the same date, it had audited net liabilities of approximately GBP7.5 million."

"The Board is now committed to returning as soon as reasonably practicable substantially all of the Company's cash to shareholders as previously announced."

Yeah. Strange.

The bid is now 5.1p and not the 4.5p it might show in your account. My basis is 7p here so need a decent rise to break even :(

Somebody bought 159904 @ 6.25p = £10k today
I took a small gamble @ 5p last month.
Shows as a 25% gain today lol

The RNS stating that the business that they were selling for 6.5m is now going for a little over 4m. I’ve taken a big bath on this but continue to hold for the time being.

Thanks for that, I appreciate that this is far from being a science but you're right that it's important to try and keep a cool head and allow the maths to improve the situation if possible. I may go along to the GM at 10am on Monday and see what can be gleaned there.

Hi Alan. I’m a bit torn with this question. As a general rule, I don’t like offering advice to others particularly if I am conflicted. I am sorry that you have lost money on this one. I don’t know what your current cost basis is or what sort of multiple of original capital you would need to put down to make you in the green or close to it. But I will say that a lot of people (myself included) have avoided averaging down when things have turned sour because of emotion. I was able to buy a big batch of PCF when it announced it was de-listing and I think it’s fair to say that a lot of existing PCF investors were so burnt and upset that they missed the attractive bet the depressed share price provided. I am experiencing something similar with another of my investments (GAM Holdings) which has done nothing but head south since I bought at 93p about a month ago. Either way, I own this and think there’s margin in it. There’s still some uncertainty around the final outcome and I think it’s hard for any of us to speculate what it will *definitely* be. In your situation, the best thing might be to wait until the final deal terms are announced and the distribution amount is clear and then buy in size so that your £ amount offsets the smaller potential gain in % terms from here i.e. you could invest £100 today for a potential 25-30% return…or £500 for a potential 10-15% return.

Am a long term holder sitting on a sizeable loss. Interested to know how @Catabrit and @
@Chrisdgb are calculating the 9-10p outcome on the return of capital and how confident you are. I may try to do a bit of averaging down at these levels.

Surprised this hasn’t moved up much since the announcement. Happy to buy at 7p if we’re netting 9-10p in the next couple of months. I know it’s not a done deal yet so there’s some execution risk but the highly probable min 25% upside seems worth it.
