Totally agree it's not a great RNS but I can see why Rockwood are funding. Will be an interesting few months.

Interesting TommyRockwood have said similar re possible take out levels They must be on a big loss and will clearly be pressurising for a takeout 2 or 3 times current price That's why they've agreed to fund for now I'm guessingBut not a great RNS of course

The leases wouldn't be included in the EV calculation by a buyer and I'm sure there's lots of PLC costs to take out. You've got the business having short term issues and any buyer would take that into account but it's the medium/long term view that would be interesting. You've got the cost savings coming through and sales of roughly 15m. Typically these types of b2b business's go for between 1-2x sales. DYOR

Great to see bonus and options for much higher levels being issued, but after that statement, IMO, how can the business with nearly £2m of net debt including leases, with poor trading, be worth North of the c.£8m EV it is currently at? let alone double that? Maybe I'm missing something.

I do hope that those that are left in the business find a new supportive home away from the Plc markets. DYOR
