Investor's Champion comments on the previous director buys back in Jan:

Bonkers Bargain Director buying
Simon Stilwell, the Chief Executive of Bonhill Group (AIM:BONH), one of our previous Bonkers Bargain opportunities, is clearly more confident in the Group’s recovery prospects acquiring another 200,000 shares at a price of 10.5 pence per share, lifting his overall stake to 3,435,500 shares, or 3.48% of the issued share capital. A day earlier Mr Stillwell also acquired 50,000 shares.

There is no better sign for investors than Directors buying, especially when the shares are firmly out of favour.

Added here today - been on the watchlist for a long time. Spate of director buying recently. Non exec Chairman added 150k to his holdings.

With C-19 restrictions out of the way, hopefully 2022 will show a decent rebound. As usual dyor.

...a bit dated....

Bonhill Group plc, formerly  Vitesse Media Plc, is a United Kingdom-based business to business (B2B) media company. The Company provides business information, live events and data and insight propositions to international technology, financial services and diversity business communities. Current share price is 12.88p, market cap is around £12.1m. It’s a highly illiquid, risky micro cap.

Todays H1 2021 trading update was reasonable, trading performance is line with expectations for the year to end-Dec 2021. Consensus expectations are for total FY revenues of around £20m and a net loss of about £0.8m for this period....from WealthOracleAM

IMO the GHS stake may provide an opportunity not a threat.Time will tell.DYOR

same CEO since the start, despite the string of profit warnings that seem never ending....shareholder destruction, I have warned before. THE GHS stake is an overhang as well if they are in run off IMO....DYOR but why stay in? FOr what? I took losses & was pretty angry at the level of BS from the board. Good luck anyone staying on board. Needs fundamental overhaul and change of management entirely before it becomes anywhere near investable IMO....DYOR, Cheers QS99

No surprise here...

* A profit warning
* A cash call seems pretty nailed on as £1m won't last very long
* A key top exec leaves/moved on...only a matter of time before the inevitable

As I said before and IMHO, BONH is highly likely to be delisted/MBO in due course as shares are tightly held by a number of funds who all are underwater. They are likely to want an exit of some sorts even if it means taking a loss.

Any private investor needs to keep the possibility in mind lest they get caught out.

DYOR and Good luck to anyone who chooses to hold !

value viper, why dangerous? Merely a view, today's statement sort of sees my caution right doesn't it? They started year talking of X% rev growth, within a few months that was lowered (subtly) and now another downgrade IMO......

DYOR but with GHS in run-off so overhang of stock why is this worth £9m? Likewise how long will its cash last if things get worse?

As ever, GLA....and DYOR over and out from me

We all read companies and the market differently....that is precisely what makes us buy or sell a stock. The market is based on sentiment and perception.

I have no vested interest in this Company doing well or otherwise, as I'm not getting involved 3rd time around !!

I have shared my experience of investing in BONH and people can make of it what they will.

Caveat emptor and good luck in spades to those who buy or hold....

Slow steady rise from here I would say, as the move to physical picks up and possibly even start thinking about acquisitions again...

Very dangerous comments from you both - potential scaremongering for sure And seemingly because you have both now sold and talking it down.If the CEO buying more in the market is going to result in a delisting of the shares, I would be staggered

Agree with you wholeheartedly multibagger. Lost a few quid on this even pre-covid as management just have not delivered. As I have posted before and your warning is salient me thinks.....

CEO buying a few quid's worth of shares really is not meaningful and is not the entire board investing £100ks....

The following still holds IMHO...

Multibagger 17 Dec '20 - 15:49 - 49 of 90

I have held decent BONH stakes on 2 separate occasions but no longer. Flatters to deceive in my experience but key Director very well connected in the City it would appear by the roll call of Insti holders with over 3% declared holdings.

Very tightly held and therefore ill liquid....my gut feeling is that BONH will be delisted at some point/ could well be a left field move.

So people need to DYOR and not get stuck in BONH or find themselves in a OCT kind of situation (down 67.5% on announcement of intention to delist announced today).

Caveat emptor and good luck to the brave souls who trade/hold !

Still loss making, only £1.2m of cash, how long will that last, revenue now expected to be 5% growth yet in March this year they were "confident" of 12% revenue growth. Anyone have thoughts on why they think they can still hit £1.2m EBITDA?

DYOR, I'm not a holder but have been and lost £s with this share & management team previously,......
