Blimey it's getting slaughtered on that update. I hold a tiny amount but I'm not selling at 20p

Hard to believe the twitter rampers got this to 60p recently

B1 yep, that's a good holding.

Have taken a few more to add to the pot, this is another company which is undervalued by a long way if all the upgrades produce to expectations.

America has been moving to tighten sanctions, while public pressure has prompted jewellery brands such as Pandora & Tiffany to vow to stop selling stones mined in Russia. Page 39 The Times Monday 16th May

Still a long way off his predicted 1 million tonnes production per annum despite all the plant upgrades. I also thought they were putting in systems last year to negate the rainy season problems.

Excuse after excuse.

Fleecing shareholders then they will take it private if it becomes profitable

Thank you gentlemen that explains a lot. I sensed there was something corrupt here but could not put my finger on it.

Gary teichmann ex rugby player South Africa. Thought there couldn’t be to many names like that.

Anyway looks like it’s set up to pay directors and teichmann nothing more nothing less.

Wonder what other plant they will be buying from them time will tell

I suppose you could call it laundering money from BRD to teichmann.

Mike Houston is linked with both companies.

Equipment and services bought from teichmann.

gw I'm appalled too, I've backed them and backed them and they continue to lose my money. How did they ever get so much debt. Another contractor took £579,514 in shares as payment at 35p, how long before that floods back on the market? There is almost no cash left in the Company so the next time there is a plant breakdown, an extended rainy season, a COVID outbreak, I can't remember all the excuses, they will be out of cash and banging on shareholders' doors AGAIN. I will sell my holding hopefully at a slightly better price than 36p and buy more BEN (my banker)

Same old for BRD. Deposit just not good enough to make any profits.

Every placing gets lower and lower then when it’s to low they consolidate.

I'm in KDR too which has been bad as well but not as bad as this one. I may switch that into BEN too. The problem here is the management treats the shareholders with disdain.

You need to look at other Diamond explorers.
Botswana Diamonds is the one for me. BOD

tim, take your rose-tinted glasses off and look again, this has huge debt and will fail again IMHO I'm switching into BEN, its carbon but coal not diamonds.

Disappointing obviously, but the operations side of the business is now running smoothly and the balance sheet is largely repaired. Mkt cap doesn’t reflect that.

Has anyone spotted the monstrous poison pill, there are convertible loan notes of £2m that convert into shares at 24.9p !!!

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, a leopard never changes its spots. This must be one of the most successful companies for destroying shareholder value ever. Time to get out IMHO

I am invested here too but BRD has huge debt and has so far not delivered. It's been a very disappointing investment.

BRD has massive potential but has a ridiculously low mkt cap due to legacy issues - now completely overcome. Should the company discover another 50c stone but this time of perfect quality, the share price could possibly jump 5x its current level. People on this thread who have been knocking the company mistake a depressed share price as a sell signal, when obviously the opposite was the case. I own 1.4% of the equity.

If any diamonds were sold for over $50k in last week’s CS auction, there will be an RNS this week. With prices up sharply this year, that seems likely.
