Just to reiterate a mention which I made a while ago, to the effect that there will still be a good number of holders who bought in the about 50p times of not that long ago.

Any sign of the BRD upward trend perhaps easing a touch may easily bring about some selling to protect what are already 100% + gains, although there is a limit on how much of that cheap stock is still being held.

I can only say I have mine, to which I have added considerably and remain long and strong at BRD.

I've read on LSE, some are concerned with the big sell off when SVS clients gain access to their holdings.

Makes sense but reading on the administrators website, Leonard Curtis, they expect this to be in Q1 2020.

With no bounce this afternoon I'm still none the wiser.

smb, you'll be aware that the spread is large and the share price is volatile. But if by temperament you're a longish-term investor, then I would thoroughly recommend adding to your existing holding. I'm not sure the share price will get any weaker than this. I'm not aware of any other LSE listed company that has a mkt cap this low and yet is (a) profitable, (b) has no debt (the CLNs are interest free and will be converted into shares idc), (c) a substantial resource that will last at least a decade, implying a decade of profits barring unforeseen shocks, and (d) tangible prospects of expansion into new projects.

Very peculiar trade action here this morning. I'd be inclined to say it's a tree shake after the recent good rns's with the bounce to come in the afternoon but the trades so far have me vexed.

Probably announce profits for 2019. Once investors have a complete picture on costs, they can convert revenue increases into growing profits and estimate p/e ratios. At the moment the company has stated it expects to be profitable in H2 2019, but there is no guidance on the quantum. I'm hoping the Annual Results, when announced, will be a pleasant surprise. In the meantime, good news attracts profit takers - maybe even including warrants holders?

Thank you tim000.
Am a holder for some time. Don’t know whether to buy on weakness? I am not generally in mining. The story is good since Teichmann have come on board and the company seems straight up with Houston seeming very grounded and sound.

Excellent price achieved. Great result and this continues to head in the right direction. I don't quite understand what the market wants. The shareprice weakness shows just how disinterested the market is. What must they do to garner real interest in the company?

Stupid I know but where can we see the results?

Yes, excellent result. $11389 per carat, beating the previous record of $9717 (set in the previous auction) by a whopping 17%. Bodes well for prices in Q4 as a whole.

Yes, Monday at 7am is undoubtedly better than Friday afternoon, but I will be frustrated if it is any later than that. To release a video on Tuesday and state the results will be released on Friday only for them not to arrive isn’t clever and loses a bit of momentum. If there was a chance of Monday then just state that!

Monday then.....They certainly keep us guessing on the timing of RNS's. Last auction RNS was 10.16am on the Friday. Have they decided that Mondays are better than Fridays for releasing news?

Yes according to this source;

Perfectly setup at £1.30 on the ask at close - should attack £1.50 on positive news IMO

SP Angel

* Valuation: Simple modelling of the Bluerock numbers gives an approximate NPV@8% value of 243 pence per share. This assumes ongoing grades of 4.3cpht, diamond values of US$432/ct, throughput of 35,000t a month and costs of US$190/ct.

* We do not try to estimate the potential value of recovery of unusually valuable diamonds and we have not modelled any unit cost reduction in mining and processing as yet.

FDI announced their quarterly results today. While grades averaged 21 cpht (BRD nearly 80% lower), average prices per carat were just $63 (BRD nearly 7x as high!). That shows you that BRD has much greater pricing power than commoditised miners such as FDI, and hence is the much better investment. Also noteworthy that FDI too mentions the issue of mining harder materials as they mine deeper, resulting in grades below plans.

Worth noting that the new guidelines for announcing recoveries of large stones are somewhat tighter than hitherto. As such, it is likely that there will be fewer erratic RNS's. Only two stones recovered this year have been over 20 carats, and none of the slightly smaller stones unambiguously would have sold for over $100k. However, there should still be an announcement once a month highlighting the larger stones sold in the monthly auction.

Absolutely, and shows how little stock was available as it’s risen on a handful of buys. I expect we’ll be back at £1.30+ by Friday if not earlier.

Indeed it will, share price as of now is over 30% lower than the day the stone was announced! Definitely a good top up opportunity.
