19/11/2021 16:49 | Just another ploy to take control no doubt. Houston has feet in both camps and should not have been given control. | grahamwales
12/10/2021 08:04 | Excellent results. Expansion project almost completed. | tim000
07/10/2021 11:34 | “The market remains buoyant…” | tim000
22/9/2021 14:29 | Teichmann taking control via the back door with the help of the CEO who is also involved with Teichmann. Teichmann also supplying the plant and machinery getting paid for it and private investors paying for it. AIM at its very best. | grahamwales
20/9/2021 12:44 | Can see this going private within next 12 months, private investors going to get screwed by CEO and his other company. | grahamwales
31/8/2021 07:31 | Excellent tender results! | tim000
23/8/2021 23:06 | No idea why people are selling, I’m now back over 1%. There has to be a reasonable chance that in the not-so-distant future the company will recover a flawless 58c stone, worth more than its current mkt cap and ending its need for capital raisings forever - indeed initiating the return of surplus capital to shareholders via dividends. The share price would break records for the speed of its ascent! | tim000
21/8/2021 16:23 | I haven’t checked with the company, but I imagine they still use the local auction house CS Diamonds, whose August auction completes next Friday. I would guess BRD will announce the results of the sale of their large stones in w/c Tuesday 31 August. (Remember they don’t usually announce the results of the entire auction.) | tim000
20/8/2021 09:13 | The company is currently processing about 65k tonnes per month. Guidance for next year is 1m tonnes, ie 83k tonnes per month, over 25% higher than currently. 25% more tonnes each month suggests a 25% greater chance of finding large diamonds. So there looks to be a good prospect of the latest recoveries of exceptional stones continuing regularly. | tim000
19/8/2021 07:39 | Note also that realised prices in Q2 were $427 per carat, 6% above budget. All of the above figures are therefore cautious, and easily achievable. | tim000
19/8/2021 07:31 | The company is targeting annual production of 40k carats at prices of $400 per carat and margins of $180 per carat, yielding gross profits of ca £5 million per annum. Let’s assume the four diamonds recovered in August so far add $1 mn to revenues, and future recoveries of large stones add $500k per month. Annualized that is $6.5 million, or nearly £5 million. In other words, gross profits are almost doubled from the company’s projections. Once G&A etc are netted off, profits before tax would be more than doubled, and result in the company trading currently on a forward p/e of less than 1! | tim000
19/8/2021 07:11 | Yet another large, high-quality diamond recovered! If this becomes a trend, the company’s own price and revenue projections will turn out to be enormously too low. And of course these discoveries are pure profit, they don’t add to costs at all. | tim000
16/8/2021 07:26 | 58.6c diamond, more than twice the previous record of 24.98c! Maybe a 5 tonne diamond is on the horizon? | tim000
09/8/2021 11:21 | 21.56 carat stone!! That’s going to be worth a substantial amount. | tim000
09/7/2021 08:12 | They are not going to meet the 750k tonne target and even with the new plant they will struggle. No indication of costs bearing in mind they have taken on additional staff. 10 year life of a mine is not that long especially when they are losing money on everything they produce at the moment. Lets see how they get on in the next qtr. | grahamwales
09/7/2021 07:19 | I started investing in BRD in Feb 2019. I’ve never lost faith in the company and own just under 1% of it; at one time prior to various capital raisings it was just under 3%. Anyway, today’s Q2 results are very promising, especially on pricing, and demonstrate the medium term potential of the business. Not at all reflected in the mkt cap. | tim000
30/6/2021 10:18 | Same old with BRD the more they spend trying to find more diamonds the more they lose. When are they going to realise the deposit just isn’t good enough to make it profitable. | grahamwales
16/6/2021 14:46 | I get the impression they want to use the aim market to get them to where they need to be then go private imo.I sold all my shares and will never touch a company these directors are involved in again. They did a share consolidation which raised the price with very few shares making it illiquid on purpose and so the price could be high to keep diluting. It was illogical to consolidate this so few shares and such a high price unless that was the plan in turn screwing over existing shareholders.Covid was the best excuse they could have had. This is one of the worst companies I invested in I don't wish the, well and I hope others get out before they get shafted.Another concern I have with a lot of companies in this field. How do we know they don't skim the diamonds take a few funnel it via the company buying more shares in them to take it private?I'm not saying this happens so am not making the allegation but where's any check and balance to say it doesn't.All in my opinion, I won't post again they are shocking and yes I lost a fortune on these cowboys.Again my opinion and my money lost | fatgreek
21/5/2021 07:35 | More shares issued and looks like the Houston and his company are looking to take control possibly go private imo. | grahamwales
20/4/2021 15:32 | Production still no where near the forecasted 800k tonnes at 86k in the quarter they are heading for half of that. Its even down on qtr 4 which they reckon was impacted by heavy rain and Covid?. Be interested to see what costs were in the quarter. Seems they are still full of BS. | grahamwales
05/3/2021 07:12 | They maybe brittle at times, but @_BlueRock are made of tough stuff"In light of the company's robust response in the face of difficult circumstances and the prospect of a stronger market this year, #BRD is worth following as a possible recovery play"https://total-m | burtond1
03/3/2021 14:59 | I must admit I have sold out my entire holding. I have given them way too many opportunities and no matter the reason it's been poor. Good luck to those remaining, | fatgreek
03/3/2021 14:52 | Unfortunately the deposit just isn’t good enough, they increase production and costs will follow. Doesn’t matter how hard they try it just isn’t going to make a profit. | grahamwales
03/3/2021 14:34 | Indeed ... but this time they didn't come across any big gems just prior to placing :-) | livewireplus |
