03/6/2020 08:10 | New investor in today 58p like the look of these good luck fellers | gooner1886
03/6/2020 08:09 | Indeed... the Rooibos tea leaf reading did the trick again .. | livewireplus
03/6/2020 08:06 | Still a tiny mkt cap, far less than the intrinsic value of the assets. And largely debt free as well, save for the non-interest bearing CLNs. | tim000
03/6/2020 07:51 | Over 30p cheaper than placing price too! | gooner1886
03/6/2020 07:46 | Very positive update today. | tim000
30/5/2020 06:55 | That's the other technique I use for stock-picking. It's resulted in a very profitable investment for me in Tata Consumer Products, owner of Tetley tea, and quoted on the Indian SE. I suspect Graham is a "Quant" and selects stocks using methods far above my abilities to understand, such as reading RNSs. | tim000
30/5/2020 01:09 | .... and there was I thinking that you'd bought them after reading the tea leaves...:-) | livewireplus

29/5/2020 18:30 | Thanks for the tip, Graham, I had never thought to do any reading about the company before I acquired my latest shares, tbh I just stuck a pin on the shares page of The Sun newspaper and hoped for the best! | tim000
27/5/2020 06:59 | Everyone makes a choice to buy or not buys shares in a company so good luck to you. However you should read the latest announcement and be wary of the warning signs within it. | grahamwales
24/5/2020 06:49 | I reduced my holding in early 2020 but am now rebuilding it again. When negativity pervades a decent company, that's usually a signal to start buying. My guess is that the diamond market is going to tighten considerably over the next year or so. The imminent closure of Australia's Argyl mine, and the perilous financial position of many other producers (which at the very least is going to stop investment in new capacity), will support prices for quality miners like BRD. On a medium term view, I think BRD should do well, bearing in mind its share price is now back to all-time lows, in spite of the vast improvement in performance and management over the past year. | tim000
22/5/2020 14:31 | The MMs always widen the spread on any drop. You can sell wide buy narrow. | smoothtosmooth
22/5/2020 10:22 | This is just another money making venture for the CEO. Selling machinery to the company he is CEO of by the company he has a share of is as bent as you can get. Same thing happened years ago with a previous director. | grahamwales
13/5/2020 08:03 | Looks like announcement was leaked prior to release. Half the money raised for expansion gone and a poor deal to sell diamonds but probably all they could get. If they still want to expand operations they will need more cash which means further dilution. Keep saying this operation will never make a net profit whoever runs it. | grahamwales

07/4/2020 10:33 | "The lower grade is largely a reflection of the mining required in the development of the combined KV1 and KV2 pit where it has been necessary to mine some near surface lower grade material. This work has highlighted that KV1 has a materially larger footprint then currently recorded. The Company will look to update the resource statement later in the year once its Competent Person has had the opportunity to confirm the findings." | sicilian_kan
07/4/2020 09:59 | Also thought they were processing 40k tonnes per month. | grahamwales
07/4/2020 09:57 | They always have excuses, however they didn’t say that grades were expected to reduce. The grade continues to increase, and, in the quarter, recovery grade exceeded the lower end of the Company's 2019 guidance of 4.25 carats. Production in Q3 was primarily from KV1. The Board expects grades in the short to medium term to remain within current guidance as the multi-pit mining strategy is developed, and the operations will have kimberlite from various depths. | grahamwales
07/4/2020 09:38 | They do have the quality and quantity. It's explained why grades are down in the RNS. | encarter
07/4/2020 09:19 | Cash burn is horrendous, roughly £800k since placing. That’s not including cash they already had. Quality and price per carat down. They just don’t have the quantity or quality of diamonds to make this a profitable mine unfortunately. Money was supposed to be used for expansion but costs are going to increase with no production in coming months. | grahamwales
07/4/2020 07:37 | Great RNs, incredible increase in sorting tonnage and number of carats held in reserve. | p winky
29/3/2020 22:31 | We played it right with the surprise placing will cover us during covid 19.Was a masterstroke looking back.... | fatgreek |
